Can I assume this isn't severitus or drarry at all? This are my favorite themes. My third favorite is healer Harry where he wants to be a doctor instead of an author. Only ones I dislike really are hpgw stories and stories where any of the kids are paired with snape-- long story short I'm enjoying this story

I have truly adored reading this. You are a genius and this is a masterpiece. Thank you.

Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much!  Sorry for the hideously delayed reply.  :)

Interesting, and well written. A pleasure to read so far.

That was seriously awesome. You're making me like Ron way more than JKR did. I always thought she shortchanged his character. 10/10 for character development, dramatic tension, and fun!

    Author's Response:

Thanks so much!  Glad you enjoyed it.  The sequel is on ff-dot-net, and twenty-five chapters in.  Swinging to the endzone, too.  :)

    BASTARD
    TOTAL FUCKING BASTARD
    I DESPISE THAT SLYTHERIN
no I don't I just wish he would stop being such a jackass help

    Author's Response:

Thanks so much for all your reviews so far!  Hope you finished the story, too.  :)  The sequel is up on ff-dot-net.  I didn't figure it really ought to go here, since it does not focus so exclusively on the Harry/Severus relationship.  Hope you'll join me as I post future fic!

Snape's extremely grudging, self-disgusted respect for Harry is my favorite thing. I keep giggling every time Harry says something smart and Snape looks queasy.

Author's Response: I know this is an ancient review, but I could not help but respond!  Grudging, self-disgusted respect indeed!

Malfoy scares me, but I also adore this creepy version of him. After all, he hasn't gone through all that yummy character development that happened in sixth and seventh year, and he is viciously, completely Slytherin in a way that destroys his spoiled-little-boy how-did-he-get-into-a-house-full-of-cunning-people image.

Seriously, your rec's are the icing on a wonderful chocolate cake! I save good fic's and find more by checking the authors' fav pages, and digging through their reviews...that is how I discovered your page.

Liked the story tremendously but somehow the ending didn't quite pull off the visceral raw emotion although it shared the cleverness entire rest of the story had. It tied everything up neatly, sorry it isn't your fault I didn't absolutely love it the way I liked the rest of the story.

Maybe I need a little more tragedy in my story endings - Glenn Cook is one of my most favorite authors. One of his Garrett stories (Sweet Silver Blues) about his first love,Kayean Kronk turned vampire following her husband- a bit like Narcissa Malfoy. Garrett rescued her and brought her out back to his hometown. She moves into a big house on the Hill and Garrett wraps himself around a barrel of beer. Every year on the anniversary of when he brought her out she sends him an gift, never small....but the line I love is "I know where she lives. I never go up that way". Found it on google books oddly double checking my memory for that quote.

But...all that aside your's is seriously one of the best, if not the best I've read. Your rec's are a real treasure - and I'll be sated a long time by them. After reading the rest of your stories.") Plus, for what it is worth, I reviewed every chapter - never done that before but I felt like your story deserved that. Thank you!

    Author's Response:

The sequel is up on ff-dot-net.  I didn't figure it really ought to go here, since it does not focus so exclusively on the Harry/Severus relationship.  However, you might enjoy it more, as it is a hair darker than SoS.

I'm awed and impressed that you've reviewed every chapter.  I read these in reverse order - most recent reviews, first - so you're probably going to see a number of messages from me as I go back through.

Hope you'll join me in future fics!

Mmm, chocolate. Not sure how to say this but this is the first chapter in the entire book I don't really like. I'm trying to understand why, maybe need to re-read it but it seems a little 'trite' even though it has everybody making the correct, logical responses....very well actually.

I am so going to read the stories you recommend. You should know I appreciate your attention to spelling and grammer, and word usage too. They are still kids even though dealing with adult horrors.....and it's all fiction but still good fiction! I'm torn between being happy it is almost done because I do need to leave for work soon - and being bummed it is almost over because I'd truly like a never ending story.
