    Thank you for this wonderful story. I've loved every chapter. You kept Snape in character very well. He wasn't over mushy, like I've seen him in other fics but he does obviously care for Harry.

    I'm glad there will be a sequel. Do you plan on starting it in the next school year or will we get to see the coming summer?

    It's really hard to write Snape, I find.  So I'm flattered that you liked my portrayal of him here.

    As for the sequel -- it starts very early in the summer.  Pretty much mere weeks after Reading the Signs ends.

    I am both extreamly happy you posted this chapter and extreamly sad it is the end! I truly enjoyed reading this story; you had really good ideas and the story was both interesting and entertaining. The emotions were very strong and I could understand how that characters felt in the situations. I had a lot of fun reading this story, it was truly brilliant work. I absolutly can not wait for the sequel! I promise to read and reveiw it, so PLEASE, please post it soon! Brilliant work, beautiful ending.

    Wonderfully strong ending to a touching story. I'm glad that you mentioned there will be a sequel, or I'd have been pestering you for one here!

    I am a big sucker for hurt/comfort in this fandom - precisely because this aspect of harry's psyche is so missing in the books, as you said in your author's notes about his need for a parent. This has really been one of the best hurt/comfort snape-adopts-harry fanfics that I've read. The key moments that you said in your a.n. that you built this story around - the sign for teacher/father, harry signing "sorry" against snape's chest - these moments have stuck with me through the months since I first read them and I can tell they'll be rattling around in my head for long time.

    There is too much that's great in this fanfic for me to even begin to do it justice in a review, so let me just say - thank you very much for writing this and sharing it with us. I would love to see a sequel, or another fanfic, or anything snape/harry really - I wuld love to see more from you wherever the muse takes you.

    Thank you for such a lovely, long review.  It's so - justifying, for lack of a better word - when readers see the major aspects of the characters the same way.  In this case Harry's psyche.  It was nice to get all that out of my head and onto paper and even better to see people respond with "Yes!  That's it!"

    So, in short, I'm very glad you liked it.  The sequel is in the works, if only in my head for the moment.
