    I adore this interesting turn of events you've created here! It is definatly the most imaginative Snape adopts Harry story I've ever read and I love every minute of it!! I'm so glad that both Severus and Harry are ok and happy in their new understanding. This ending was perfect and I seriously can not wait for the sequel!! Please update as soon as you can!!

    The sequel will probably be a bit of a wait.  But not too long, I imagine, because they won't stay out of head.

    That was such a satisfying ending! I loved how Harry was finally convinced by Severus that he meant something to him. Sigh.

    Ever so thankful that you're doing a sequel! I want more! Looking forward to it immensely!

    Lovely ending to the story. It showed how much Snape has come to understand Harry and what Harry brings to the relationship. Snape can't hide his emotions anymore and (yippee!) he won't have to spy anymore. But I must admit to being sorry not to see Snape in action against Quirrell.

    Pretty much the only reason I didn't show the Quirrell/Snape showdown is because I knew I wouldn't write it well.  Best to skip it.

    Snape is definitely more open with Harry, but I think he has a ways to go yet.

    OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS STORY. You said there is a sequel but you did not mark it as complete here. I am happy you are going on I really happy to see the not complete here thinking you marked it complete on fanfiction.net by mistake but it said sequel so I am HAPPY. Was worried for a few days. Sorry Rambling. I just love this Harry and Snape.

    Actually, I'm afraid that was just an oversight on my part -- the story is complete.  But there will be a sequel!

    Great chapter. And though I'm sad to see you end this story. I'm very glad there is going to be a sequel. I'm so happy for Harry and Sev. What a marvelous ending. :o)

    Thank you!  I'm sad to see it end too.  Probably why I know I'll write a sequel.

    Harry and Severus are definitely on the right track, but there's a way to go yet (I can say that because I already know how the sequel starts, lol!).

    Congrats on getting Featured for Lily's Charm, btw.  I love the story!

    What?! You can't stop there...This story is simply amazing, and though I just found it and so hadn't read it in time to nominate/vote it for a featured story, it certainly deserves the distinction. I can't wait for the next chapter! Please update soon!! I love your characterizations of both Harry and Severus, and how their relationship progresses; it's all very believable, although I do wish you'd given us some insight into Snape's thoughts during Harry's first Quidditch match...By the way, I did happen to notice the plot hole in the Christmas chapter, and I'm so glad you cleared it up in the next chapter. I had been wondering what Harry's reaction would be when he truly realized what had been written. I expect Dumbledore will have a bit of trouble getting to Harry. I mean, you haven't really said how their relationship has progressed, so I'm left to assume that Harry still doesn't really trust Dumbledore...? Oh, and I thought I would mention: in the middle of chapter 20, starting with "They both know it is not a suggestion" when Snape sends Harry to bed, your writing suddenly changed to present tense narration, and then went back to past tense with the next section. Since it happened apparently randomly, midchapter, I assume you don't realized you did it, so I thought I'd point it out. (sorry this rambled so much!). Anyway, keep up the wonderful writing, and update soon!

    Yeah, it was a bit of a mean place to stop.  But the next chapter's up now!  I'm glad you found the story and have enjoyed it.  I wouldn't say that Harry doesn't trust Dumbledore, I think he does, but at this point pretty much anyone would have trouble getting through to him.

    (Thanks for pointing out the tense issue.  I am aware of it, but obviously wasn't at the time.  That's what happens when you take days to write chapters.  Things get mucked up.)
