Reviews For Reading the Signs
You are very good at making your readers 'see' your story, especially on the last paragraph, I could really see Harry running to Snape, and the signing, OH! I'm studying ASL, so the part about him signing 'sorry' against Snape's chest instead of his own was so amazingly sweet and very meaningful. This part was wonderful: “Me, I would feel nothing.” Harry’s face crumpled impossibly. Severus took several meaningful steps forward, but could not quite get all the way to the chair before he looked across the room and added, “I would feel nothing, Harry, because if something happened to you I do not think I would survive it." Oh, be still my heart! Aah! You are such a great writer, and this is a lovely story, please continue, I can't wait for the next chapter. :) -Elise Author's Response: I'm incredibly pleased you liked the part about Harry signing against Snape's chest. I'll let you in on a little secret: that particular moment was the catalyst for the whole story. It just *popped* into my head one day and I scribbled it down. Then I thought -- how on earth are the two of them ever going to get to that moment?
You flatter me greatly with your words about my little story :)
Author's Response: I hope that means you liked it :)
Author's Response: Aw, I'm glad you liked it so much! Thank you.
Author's Response: I think everyone involved was a little too emotional for their comfort *grin*. As for Severus -- I don't think he was too harsh. I mean, a little harsh, but this is Severus Snape after all. And he had a very strong point to make.
Author's Response: Thank you, I'll do my best :)
Author's Response: Yeah, it's a bit drawn out, but that's probably more my fault than his. I needed to get them both to a point where Harry would "ask" his question and where Snape would answer it, and a bit of an emotional punishment and a fear of something happening to Harry would do that.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it so much! Thanks for the review!
Author's Response: I'm glad he said what he did too, though no one really expected it. I'm glad you liked the trip to the burn ward - it seems to be getting mixed reviews ;)
Author's Response: Such a big compliment. Thank you!!
Author's Response: Harry was burning the list of "suspects" that he and Hermione and Ron had put together. He was frustrated because Snape was still listed on it. As for why Snape didn't ask him -- simply because it didn't occur to me to have him do so! Thank for the review. |
