    Wow!! This is a terrific beginning, and I'm so looking forward to more of this story!!
    Your Snape is still snarky, but you can see the caring in him - and I absolutely LOVE that Harry went to the trouble of writing him a Thank-You, when most people wouldn't have even bothered!!
    Dare I hope that Snape's errands include laying a smack-down on Vernon? *LOL*

    Author's Response: Hi, I'm really glad you're liking it so far, and thanks for the review.  I thought the Thank You note was a nice touch on Harry's part.  As for Snape's errands, well what he was off doing remains to be seen.

    This has a really good beginning. I like how Snape is trying not to see himself in Harry. Looks like he has some unresolved issues about his own childhood!
