Beautiful. You've kept the Potions Master and added the Father. Brilliant.
This was the first story I read after my Harry/Snape slash obsession (though I read Harry/Snape gen fics before that), and I'm glad I decided to read gen storys again :). It's a great story, and I'm currently reading the sequel to it.
I usually don't like original characters, but I really really like Harry's teacher :).

it has really been a while since i read a non-slash fic,and even counting the slash ones, which ended making you feel satisfied with the whole story, and it is soo cute without getting all pinky-fluffy-fairytail-ending, omg, such realistic situations, keep writing.

I read this one from your web site when it was recomended on another site. Glad you found your way here. I hope you someday extend the story line. This is one of my favorite stories!!!
Aww he hid food. Smart kid, even if that is really sad that he would feel like he had to do that to keep from going hungry. Nice Job!

Hehe, this was a great chapter. Lots of emotion which was awesome. I like how Snape sorta changed his mind about "dumping" Harry once he rescued him. :)
Aww he gave Harry a toy. :) Bout time the kid had something to be happy about. I can see the anger building in Snape or maybe that's just the protectiveness growing in him. Nice Job so far!
