That's gonna be an interesting conversation!
My, my... Either James was rather desperate or he was a few pawns short of a chess board, it would seem. Perhaps both? Pureblood inbreeding, maybe?
Very interesting development - a twist I've yet to see, anyhow. Well done!
Oh, no - I hope nothing happened to poor Hedwig!
Another good chapter. Can't wait to find out who sent that book.
Hmm... An intriguing start - it has certainly caught my interest.

Holy crow!!! This has to be the best Severitus story I've ever read. I especially love your portrayal of Ron. I've never been a big fan of the youngest Weasley son, and I think you're spot on. I can't imagine him staying loyal to Harry once he was out of the loop, especially as many times as he turned on him in the books. I also love that Horris and Draco click so quickly. I've always thought that they would make good friends. They compliment each other much better than Ron and Harry, and their experiences give them more in common. Ron is a great foil for Harry, but a very poor friend. I also think that this Hermione fits quite nicely with Horris. I can't ever understand why she fell for Ron in cannon, and cannon Hermione is a little too bossy for cannon Harry. This Hermione is a little more subdued, though, and Horris' Slytherin cunning makes him a bit smarter than cannon Harry. I like your use of the journal and of Snape's restored memory. I think the idea of getting part of your memories back makes the huge attitude change more believable. The plot is incredibly intruiging. I'm especially excited about all the little sub-plots you seem to be weaving. What did Lupin need to tell Harry about Lily? What on earth is going on with Sirius? What is Dumbledore's next move? I can't wait to see how it turns out!
Wonderful. Awesome, awesome, awesome. And depressing as all hell. Well done, but I'm mad that you killed him. Not okay. Really, really, not okay.

THIS WAS AMAZING !!!
I hated you for distorting Ron at first, but now, I totally see how that made sense (=
thanks for writing! I'm going to start on your sequel(s) now =D

Oh great goddess of words, I bow before you!
I truly cannot express how much I love this story - it simply amazes me but, alas, it is Sunday night and I will not be able to read the entire thing through. I will finish it, I promise.
I look forward to reading the rest of your work, great lady.
Yours respectfully, Lady Julie Snape.

I just can't believe Horris is dead! It's the most awful thing of all... I wonder if he coud reborn somehow. Perhaps in the next part of the "Forlorn" series...
