    I've just spent the last couple of weeks reading this fic at every opportunity I could either grab or create. It was absolutely rivetting! I've really enjoyed it, and commend you both on your fantastic efforts. Now I'm off to read the sequel! Cheers.

    But I noticed that your review was for the chapter prior to the epilogue. I hope you noticed that there is an epilogue... there is also a sequel here on P&S and a third story in the series currently posted only at skyehawke archives.

    Well, since it's been a year since I last read this fanfic and because I loved it so much I decided to read it again!! But now with some nice reviews. Well I'll do my best!!! Nice beginning and indeed an ominous sign that harry receives a letter from privet drive. I would be scared too....Ooooh poor Harry!

    You are sick, totally sick in writing or even imagining about the needle torture like you are doing and prolonging it for chapter after chapter. It's sick and I hope you don't write anything again!

    Yup that was me on LJ - I'm honored - I know you get a lot of e-mail and it is flattering that you recognized me. Thanks for your response - I'll keep an eye out for the reference.

    P.S. - Loved ASLNO and while only glancing at AFLNO so as not to give anything away to myself - I'm loving it already through the comments. I love how you portray the characters. My only regret (and this is just my personal quirk) is not enough McGonagal (she's my second favorite after Snape) love that Lady!! And she is a Lady!!

    Why doesn't Harry try to use his "dark" magic to get rid of Snape's "dark" mark - or does that just sound dumb? (I'm re-reading this story while waiting for a good chunk of AFLNO to be done - I don't handle cliffhangers so well - but what I have seen in reviews I know I'm gonna love it!!)

    I think you left a comment on my LJ recently -- your handle sounds familiar.

    I don't remember now for certain, as it's been years since I wrote AYLNO, but I think that this comes up in the fic at some point. Harry offers to try his powers on the Mark and Snape thinks that's uncontrolled, untested magic and Harry could very easily remove his entire arm without meaning to. So they decide that's not an option.

    If you run across that in the fic, let me know what chapter so I can refresh my memory, too!

    This was just FANTASTIC! And I think you made Harry see reason at precisely the right instant. Any more would have been overkill. Your sense of timing is excellent. I'm off to read about Summer now!!!
