    I'm rereading this for the thousanth time because I wanted to remember the progression of their relationship with all the new chapters lol. And now that I have with the new info I have noticed a lot of for shadowing that I never noticed before. i am curious if this was for shadowing on purpose:

    He was even pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn’t all drudgery. Once he got past the dull introductory chapters, there were quite a few fascinating facts about Occlumency and tactics an Occlumens could use. It wasn’t all about fending off attacks, he learned; it was also about mastering misdirection. When he got to the chapter about ways in which strong emotion could be tethered to specific memories, which could then be used to misdirect a Legilimens, he read the chapter twice through and marked it for future study.

    I just ask cause that's kind of what barru did with Voldemort. He used the emotion of love and those memories which really fucked with Voldemort s head. Idk if that was done on purpose. I already think your fucking brilliant and if it was done on purpose than that just shows even more brilliance than I realized lol but if not: don't worry. You're still brilliant

I love it when people pull out things that I put in the story, not sure if anybody would ever notice. :) Honestly, I do put seemingly inconsequential things in that I plan on being important later, but sometimes I also get inspired by past chapters to expound on things that weren't necessarily planned. This one was about half and half. I knew that I wanted Harry to use that bit of Occlumency and that it would tie into his battle with Voldemort, but I wasn't 100% certain yet exactly how it would play out. :)

    Adorable Harry. But probably hard on Snape to hear a lot of that.

    OMG are you kidding me with this chapter. It is so wonderful I wanna hug it to pieces! I absolutely love those times in fics were one character is not-so-lucid and says things that take another character by surprise and get all up in their feels, LOL! Hugs and humming from Snape - squeeeeee!

    Snape is wonderfully patient here and yet cleverly Slytherin, using Harry’s confusion to find out what he wants to know. An enjoyable chapter.

    This story is so wonderfully written! I can't get over your characterizations. I feel like Snape would be hard to peg down, but you have done it beautifully! I enjoyed Harry's some-what lucid conversations with Snape; it definitely made for an amusing/enlightening read. Seriously, this is the best fic I've read, and I've read a TON! Keep up the great work!

    It has been a sweet chapter, and I can just imagine Snape sighing each time Harry asks about class... Snape is going to find it hard to abandon the child.
