    OMG the absolute wonderful ANGST of it all!!!
    At first I thought, no NO she would NOT kill Severus.
    Then I thought, well he only said Harry would live, so yes he would die to save him... and then Harry got all powerful from his emotions seeing him dead - OH NO NO
    Then Lucius says he lives and OMG I can breathe again!
    I freaking love this fic!

    I'm sure you have enough reviews mentioning how awesome this story is.
    I have to say it anyway and pay my respects.
    The story is amazing. The development is well-paced, the language fabulous and the characterization realistic yet GOOD.

    Now, where is chapter 45???

    Thank you so much for updating this story and just for writing it in general.

    I stumbled across this and have just spent the last 3 days straight in binge reading it. It allowed me to stop thinking about the crazy world and pandemic for a while and just emerge myself in a really well written story.

    I don't know what happened but I didn't receive email about this update and so I compulsively checked my mail for a week until I accidently discovered it today while perusing the site.

    LOVE this chapter! I've read other fics where Harry gets to know about Snape's part in his parents'death, and your take was unique and angsty in a good way and absolutely beautiful. Harry's pure nature shines all the through the chapter, and Snape being dazzled by it is just so satisfying! Thank you for this bit of perfection! SO looking forward to their escape and hopefully a closer relationship between them!

    Author's Response: Thanks for the review! Yay I'm so happy that you liked it! I really love writing Harry like this. He can still have his stupid and immature teenage moments, but he has so much purity and maturity too, and I love it when Snape gets to see them shining through. :)

    OMG I want to HUG this chapter - and you for writing it! I love it when Harry gets to vent his feelings, he rarely gets to do that when he really needs to. The forgiveness is this feels so hard won and very genuine. My heart still hurts for them but I love how they have gotten to a place to start healing. Brava on a truly excellent chapter!

    Woah!! I’m so glad that they are both still alive. I hope Snape wakes up in time to tell Barry what those potions are. Is Harry’s arm just dislocated? Or is it broken?

    Great chapter! I hope things will work out for both Harry and Snape. How will they escape? Will they escape? Or are they just waiting for death? Yikes!

    I hope to find out soon. Thanks for updating! Great chapter. :)
