My heart was in my throat for the last part of that chapter (I almost wrote episode by accident...)

You have a way with words that just draws a person in. I couldn't help but cringe at each painful moment for him. GOD you're good.

I really do need to go back and re-read this, it's been a while since I have... maybe that'll keep busy until your next update.

    Author's Response:

I love thinking of it as an episode! :) I wanted to do regular updates (or at least let people know exactly when to expect an update) for the reason that it's more fun to follow a story that way. Plus it motivates me when I have a firm deadline and people holding me to it!

Thank you for the compliment, and at the same time, I'm sorry the painful moments made you cringe! :) I'm so happy you're enjoying it so much, even enough to re-read it!! :) :)

I want cherry pie, haven't tried it at all but sounds delicious xD. I thought it weird crabbe was smart given his son's behavior in school.does that mean crabbe is S. Snaoe? Is he an ally? Or did something else happen. I guess I'll find out next week. I wish you have a most productive weekend and next week so we might be granted an extra long chapter xD. Just kidding! Write at your own pace and I'll be waiting for it ;)

Author's Response: Cherry pie IS delicious! Especially warm out of the oven, with a side of cold vanilla ice cream. Yummm. Yeah I decided to make Crabbe slightly smarter than his son (we all know it isn't like father like son, after all), and I figure Snape wouldn't impersonate somebody who had zero brain cells...unless he thought being underestimated would give him a leg up. In this case, I think he knows he stands a better chance of protecting Harry if he disguises himself as somebody with a certain amount of standing in Voldy's inner circle. Thank you for tuning in, regardless of chapter lengths! :)

Wow you're such a good writer! I've been checking all week just in case you were back early. I was surprised at Harry's capture and wasn't sure how you would resolve the story with that plot twist, but I love this twist with Snape coming to the rescue as Crabbe and Harry fighting back with his mind and saying Voldy's name! I have to go back and reread when he got the ring now. Thank you for continuing to write this great story!!

Author's Response: Aw thank you so much! It means the world to hear that you're enjoying the story so much! I hope you continue to enjoy it. :)

I knew it! Crabbe was too careful from the beginning to be Crabbe, that so awesome! I have a feeling Lucius is on it too, given the previous chapter, with the way he was acting and Severus suddenly being able to locate Harry. Anyway, great chapter!

Author's Response: Haha, you did know it! :) Thank you so much for the review!!

Yeah! Crabbe did seem somewhat out of character there :DDD How did Snape manage to find Harry? So Harry can steal extra strength back through legilimency that's the trick Snape taught him. Voldemort will put Harry under the potion now, scared of Harry taking more, I'm sure. After that, he'll probably busy himself luring Snape with the ring. Maybe Snape/Dumbledore will let himself be lured while Crabbe/Snape does his mischief. Maybe polyjuice will be used, leaving Harry/death eater as potioned Harry while death eater/Harry escapes??

I love speculating about this story, I think I haven't been so strongly affected. I don't usually review so much! I'd rather not have my experience spoilt in any way so you don't have to address any of my ramblings. This has been a pleasure to read.

Author's Response: I love your theories! When do you want to start as my co-writer? ;) I won't tell you any spoilers, but I promise your questions will be answered before the story is done! I hope you're having a splendid week and can't wait to hear what you think about the next chapter!

YES!!! Oh what a great chapter! Good angst and that last bit was brilliant!

Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked it!! That last part was fun to write. :)

Two weeks... life brings many trials...

I think I can guess how Harry's trust will be challenged now...

    Safe travel Kirby

Author's Response: Many trials, indeed. At least I can point to my decade hiatus and say, "but this break is better than that one, right?" ;D I hope you can wait okay and that you like what's in store for our boys!

New chapter! Oh, I couldn't wait for this. Voldemort's reaction have me puzzled but I guess it does make sense. I wonder if Severus already knows Harry is missing and what is his reaction to the news... Anyway. I need moooooore, so much more. I think I'm addicted to this story tbh.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I'm sorry OME caused an addiction, but I'm selfishly happy to hear it as well lol! Spoiler alert: Snape knows Harry's missing, and he's working on it. ;)

I don't know how to respond. I almost screeched, but then I realized I'm at work and have to be quiet.

I...I wasn't ready for this level of angst and drama so early in the morning.

Yet another amazing chapter, and I cannot wait until the next one arrives!

Author's Response: Don't screech! I don't want your boss to be mad at me! lol. I'm glad you liked it, angst/drama and all! Thank you for the review! :)

One more thing ocurred to me. Why did Remus ask when Snape and Dumbledore would show up? Did he hurt the others at the house to cover his tracks? A terrifying thought...

Now, the ring - does it send an alarm signal or have a tracking spell on it as well? Is it visible for anyone else? What if it's taken away?

3 reviews for one chapter - I don't think I've done it before.

    Author's Response:

I'm not sure how much to share about what's going on back at Kneader's, as all will be revealed in time, but here goes. He was asking about Snape because Voldemort is after revenge and wants his wayward spy back to suffer the consequences of his betrayal. He was asking about Dumbledore to a) make sure he's not around to interfere with plans to take Harry and b) because it never hurts to find out what intel Harry might know and innocently share with Remus. As for what happened after Harry left, I'll leave that open to speculation for now. I will tell you though that Snape figures out pretty quickly that he's gone and that it involves foul play.

The ring works by alerting Snape to Harry's location when he uses the ring. Others can see it but won't necessarily know what it is. It does have a tracker...but such things have limits...like, for instance, if he were to be Portkeyed to a location that's warded against such objects... RUH-ROH! You know...just speculating... *whistles*

Haha I love it! Keep the reviews/questions coming. ;)
