    Awww that was so sweeet))) Harry worried about Snape, Snape being just shy of nice))) And Snape being afraid of the little snake)) In fact, I'm pretty sure he knows a thousand and one potions for snake bite, and Brtish snakes aren't deadly poisonous on the spot. But this whole situation reminded me of a fanfic where Harry made friends wth the basilisk instead of killing it, and got Snape to ride it)))) I can't imagine how Harry is going to breach the important subjects with thim though )) And I don't really understand why they can't set up a lab in the Room of Requirement. I mean, stuff stays there if you phrase the requirement the same every time, and they should know that after DA.

    Author's Response: Haha, yes, if anybody would be prepared for a snake bite, it would be Snape! Between the two of them, they got this snake thing covered. ;) Ha - I definitely think Harry should have befriended the Basilisk. It's just a bigger snake, right? Who says bigger has to be meaner?? Yeah, I thought about the Room of Requirement in that sense, but I'm assuming it can't cover absolutely everything. I mean, if it did, that would have solved half their problems in the novels. (Or I just wanted a reason for Harry to need Snape.) ;) Thanks for the review! I hope you're having a good week!

    Your updates make my day! Snake-human father—that warmed my heart. I love the innocent inactions Harry has with snakes in fan fiction; he’s such a sweetheart. Lovely chapter—can’t what for what’s next!

    Thank you for another piece))finally Harry connected the dots))) I am very curious about the Kneader character, and it looks like there's more to his attitude than Harry could pick up. And why did he say "the likes of you"? What kind of people are the likes of Harry?

    PS where can I contact you about typos? I'd rather not post that in reviews)))

    Yes - I'm glad Harry knows now! I mean, he doesn't KNOW, like everything there is to know, but he knows enough to change some things. :) You'll have to excuse Kneader. He's not a bad guy, just lives alone and doesn't interact with kids all that often, and he's got a bit of a carmudgeonly side to him.

    Another fantastic chapter! I like the slow realization Harry had of Severus's relationship with Lily. I'm also very excited to see more of this mysterious Kneader...

    I'm about halfway through rereading the earlier chapters and thoroughly enjoying it :)

    Wonderful chapter! I am really enjoying the slow build of trust and comfort between them. I am also having fun thinking about and coming up with theories on how much Voldemort knows and how he knows it...I eagerly look forward to finding out what happens next!

    With rescuing Remus being so easy, maybe someone should make sure he is himself and not a polyjuiced version. Or maybe I have a paranoid mind...interesting chapter

    Author's Response: Sometimes it's the paranoid mind that saves the day. Just ask Moody. Maybe he's wrong a lot of times, but when he's right, it's the difference between life and death! ;)
