yes,yes YES make a sequel!!! please!!!

wonderful chapter as always, I love your story! update soon! ^^

    Author's Response:

:) I'm glad you like the idea!  I'm so worried that when it comes time, I may not have the time or energy to make a sequel, but we'll see.  I may not be able to stop myself - I've already picked a title and written a scene. ;)

    Thanks for the review!

Can I say that your writing is amazing?

I love this fiction dearly. Your characterizations are beautiful and the style seems so cannon to me! And the plot line is brilliant!!! I can't find anything that I would change except that I still want more! I love it when Snape comes out with his protective side and you do such a wonderful job at it too...

I eagerly await the next update! Keep up the amazing work!

    Author's Response:

So is your name Madeline? Just curious...

Thank you for the review! I am so happy that you are enjoying it. Yes, I love Snape's protective side, too...and with the way things are going, it could manifest itself quite a bit more in later chapters... ;)

That was one awesome chapter! you certainly kept the same caliber throughout the whole story. loved snape and harry's conversation, especially when you compare their first to the recent one; it really shows their progress. great job on harry's emotions as well, was it me or did he end up slightly hysterical and hence couldn't stop laughing? he certainly wouldn't be able to get over his vision in .5s flat... he ain't some superhuman.

“So, um…all that explaining was just to say that we should make a guess and see if it works.”

“That is the general idea. My explanation was quite more precise, of course.”

    “Um, yeah. Of course.”

harry's downright amusing, simplifying snape's length explanation like that. XD

and thank goodness for snape not singing... although it would be hilarious (imagines snape going "hogwarts hogwarts hoggy warty hogwarts" and bursts out giggling)

i'd shower you with cookies if i could! your story is one of the best i've read and i always eagerly anticiapte the next one. way to go, keeping me in agony. :P

ps: i was rather worried that you ran into some trouble, like exams or something. life likes to come by and kick us in the... glad to know you're fine!

    Author's Response:

    Yay! Long review! :)

Yes, you are correct that there was a bit of hysteria involved in Harry's laughter. A combination of the emotions from the visions and the awkwardness & humor of the Snape situation was a tad bit overwhelming for him. Good reading! :)

P.S. I would accept your shower of cookies if I could.

I'm so happy to read a new chapter! It was well-worth the wait.

You've created such a great suspenseful situation here. I don't know how Harry will convince Snape that his visions aren't from Voldemort, because what Other Harry is asking him to do is exactly what Voldemort wants. And even Harry himself couldn't believe Other Harry at first!

And what more, will Harry tell Snape that the war hinges also on him as the rescuer? Can Snape know that in advance without messing things around?

I also love how the chapter was structured. Before the vision-dream, Snape tells Harry that so many of his pleasant memories are tied to bad ones too. And then that theme gets echoed throughout the chapter. First, Harry finds comfort in the scent of a man who has always tormented him and riled him up. Then, in the dream, Harry sees a wonderful future, but again, this wonderful future vision is tied to an awful revelation of what Harry must do to turn the war in his favor. So really, I admire the way you structured it all and reinforced Snape's initial observation that even Harry's most pleasant thoughts can immediately lead to the darker thoughts and worries.

And as I've said from the start - I love the way you write both Harry and Snape. Harry is so endearing and frank and funny (I was laughing right along with him, and I loved this thought especially: "How could one person be so infuriating, even when they were supposedly trying to help?")And Snape... wow. One of the many things I love about your Snape is that you're able to give him his long, vocab-powered sentences without having it sound forced. And I think it's so lovely how he tries to convince himself and Harry that he doesn't care (yeah, right, Snape...)

I'll be waiting for the next chapter with great anticipation. And though you've said it's too early for you to make any promises about a sequel, I really really hope you write one, even if the updates are few and far between.

    Author's Response:

:) Oh, how I LOVE long reviews!!

I'm glad that you saw the structure of the chapter. It wasn't planned that way initially; it just kind of worked itself out. And thanks for your comments on Snape & Harry!

That was brilliant. I've been waiting for an update forever, and I have to say that the wait was completely worth it.

I was gettin' a little nervous coming down to the end of this chapter like "No, I don't want it to end!!" But I have to say, that the last few paragraphs were sufficiently satisfying. Definitely filled the Aww-factor for today.

I love the way you write Harry. I LOVE it. You write him so realistically, not just through dialogue, but also in his actions. One of my favorite parts of this chapter was where Harry was laughing uncontrollably. It was great.

And then Snape going back and forth calling Harry by his first name, and then Potter, and then Harry again. That was amazing. And he even chuckled! Your Snape is perfect. I'm very impressed how you keep him SO in character but are still able to interject a few moments of kindness. It's much more effective than fluffy!Snape.

I'm sad this chapter is over. Guess that means I'll just have to read it again... lol. By the way, I'm holding you to the promise of a finished story. I think I'd go slightly crazy if this masterpiece were incomplete.

Keep up the excellent work. Your writing is inspiring.

    Author's Response:

Thank you, thank you for the review!  I am glad you enjoyed the chapter!

I'm glad to hear you like my characterizations of Harry and Snape - I'll try to keep it up with your expectations! :)

Awesome chapter! That was funny how Harry started laughing like crazy over the image of Snape singing to him. Shame that part wouldn't fit in because that would have been great! Keep up the great writing and I hope you'll find time to update soon!

    Author's Response:

    Thank you!

I know - I wanted Snape to sing, but when I suggested it, he threatened not to be in the story if I wrote it in.  I didn't want to risk a Snape Strike.  Sorry!

No! You can't leave it there, are you mad?! That scene was the perfect amount of excietment, anxiety, emotional-ness, and funny-ness all mixed together, that it's pure torture to not have more! I love you're ideas for this chapter, if they do indeed all come from you're head or come from something of Rowling's remains to be seen, but I loved it anyway. Please, please, please update soon! *Puppy-dog-eyes* I love this story, it's very interesting and entertaining to read. ^_^ Update please.
