    Great chapter! I love Harry's slow realizations about Snape - the fact that he owes him a lot, and that even when he's furious with him he's not about to deny him meals. I think it's very consistent with Harry's character that even though he does realize that Snape's done a lot for him, he still can't bring himself to thank the man. He does have his pride, after all.

    I really like this. It had many typical elements, but you made them reallly fit and mean something. We now know subtly that Snape has seen Harry being kind to Dobby and Harry has realized that even at his worst, Snape treats him humanely. He has also learned a little more about what makes Snape tick.

    Thank you for the nice review!  Very insightful - yes, we have seen all that.  And yet, will each of them notice these things about each other for what they really are?  Or will stubborness win out once more?  (hehe, sounds like those questions on the back cover of books that you know the answer to before you open the first page.)  Still...Stay tuned! :)

    Awesome chap! And good thing ur not changing anything to be like the book cause then that would probably mean Snape dies! Did u cry? I cried!!!!! Hope you can update soon!!!

    Author's Response: SPOILER! :) Yes, I cried. But not at that part, actually. I cried at the scene where Harry's walking into the woods. I was so so so so sad though that Snape and Harry didn't at least get a moment of realization before Snape died. That was all I wanted - a moment! :(

    Your story is great! I usually don't like abused Harry but this is good, not over done and on his death bed like some. And I love your Snape! That's the best part. He's so in character. The interaction between the characters is good and I've laughed a few times. And I have to say, my own faith in Snape aside, that in that last chapter, there was a moment where I was like, "OMG! Harry's a deadman." Awesome!

    I'm so glad you like it!  I tried to keep the abuse believable and not overdone...  And I'm so happy I was able to make you laugh a few times!  It's nice to get perspectives from people who aren't nose to nose with the story.

    A lovely chapter! Poor Harry had to spend most of the night disembowling frogs. That must have been a lovely task. I hope there's more soon cuz this is an excellent story!

    Yes, sometimes I'm really glad I never had potions as a subject in school...or Snape as a professor. *shudder* Poor Harry...

    Very nice chapter. I like the Wall Watcher device which will let Harry listen in on some conversations. And of course, yippee that Snape will be in the same house. They still have a long way to go.

    Well, can't wait to read harry potter 7 and then go back to reading more fics and the next chapter in this fic!

    Great chapter, Love this story. OH it is going to get tense Snape and Harry in the same house (chills)
