    I liked this chapter a lot. You have set things up beautifully for Snape to learn just exactly how Harry is treated at home--which is one of the main things I've always wanted Snape in canon to figure out. Harry's efforts to clean up Snape were believable--not too bumbling, but he's never shown any abilities with healing before either.

    The actual writing of this story flows well, and I noticed no errors. That is a wonderful gift to this terribly picky reader. I should also note since you are a new writer that I am a fairly hard grader--a story has to be really exceptional to get more than an eight from me and I'm more than willing to give less! :-)

    Another excellent chapter! Petunia got easily sidetracked but will Vernon? I imagine Harry will be in a bit of trouble for not finishing his chores. This is excellent so far and I cant wait to read more!

    Author's Response: Yes, they're both quite a piece of work, aren't they? But Harry's pretty smart...if he can get past Voldemort more than a couple times, I think he's up to the challenge these annoying muggles present, don't you? But if you're not so sure, keep reading and find out!

    Nice job! Good second chapter, I just wish that there were more! Good of Harry to try and take care of Snape. It's no surprise the rubbing alcohol woke him up! Ouch! Nice plot device, it seems logical. Harry was rather start to get Petunia worried about magic. Iwonder how this summer will go. :) Thanks for posting!

    I like your non-cowed Harry who has figured out that it is better to just get through the summer with the least bother. I also think his reaction to Snape is in character for this point in the canon arc. He can't help helping Snape, but he doesn't like him and he will have to work through his anger before he can show more compassion.

    I'm looking forward to where you take this story.
