    Omg!!
    I'm dying for all these mysteries to be solved! How Snape came to be Harry's father--the circumstances and what's going on with Lupin and what's going on with Draco, and what these Horcruxes are all about. Oh and is Snape the trusted servant and not Wormtail. I'm worried about poor Harry too.

    I can't wait for the next chapter. I just wish that Snape would interact more with Harry. I wish that Snape would actually be a father to Harry, even if he's not a mushy sort of hands-on father. I wish that Snape didn't have custody of Malfoy too. He seems to be more interested in bonding and in Draco's welfare, than that of his own son.

    Oh and another mystery I'm dying to figure out--is Lily really Harry's mother, or is Beatrice just a fake name for Lily.

    Oh, see what you've done with your brilliant story!!! I'm intrigued!

    Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

    When I started writing, I said I wasn't going to use the horcruxes and hallows at all (because the whole camping trip was plenty in canon... I don't need a repeat in my story). I've changed my mind about using them, but they still won't be very important. Dumbledore destroyed all the horcruxes, so there isn't really anything left for Harry to do about that (other than have a lot of angst, that is).

    I have four (very short... I might combine them) chapters off at my beta. So more is coming! There will be more interraction between Harry and Snape and/or Hadrian and Snape, More info about Lily (who is definitely Harry's mother).

    Whew...i don't know what i think of this story. the first handful of chapters was painful to read with all the lies, misdirection, hatefulness, bullying and dismissal of harry by snape and remus in particular. Harry is basically kidnapped by snape and when he asks why, is told is had nothing to do with him. Newsflash, it has everything to do with him. The lies seem to be continuing with the potion he just drank. I'm so disappointed with remus as a character. if he can't stop hurting harry, he should just be honest and back away. plus, wasn't remus aware to a certain extent of harry's home life? i don't know if i can take another 15 chapters of everyone hating harry, in particular when they don't know him and have never taken the time to do so. Ach, poor harry. I think if i was in his position, i would probably mentally dismiss both of them from my life forever, knowing that in a year, i'd have control over my money again and can decide if i'll ever step foot in hogwarts for 7th year, or just hire tutors, take the tests, and escape the hostility. i just can't see a reason for harry to keep reaching out with his heart only to be smacked back. At some point, enough is enough.

    I am dying for the secret to come out. I just can't wait. Thanks so much for the fast updates too.

    Hmmm...wonder what Malfoy is up to. Don't trust him.

    I wonder if all will come to a head at "Hadrian's" brithday party!

    I can't wait till the next chaper. I agree with Obsidian. This is one of my top favourite Severitus' of all time! Great job!

    Eeeps, the plot thickens. Poor Harry, having no idea of Snape's motivations. Bit creepy all told. I love that Harry is so annoyed at being patted on the shoulder, makes me grin. Such awkwardness is always fun I guess.

    I wonder what Draco is up to. I have to say though that Harry is really taking to all of this so well, people around him (read Lupin and Snape) need to give him more credit. But then, they are being easier with him so maybe they are at that.

    I loved this line: "not wanting to give Snape anything else to complain about by sitting on the bed without the bedspread on." Ha, it just seems a very Snape thing to do and eve more so, a very Harry thing to think that Snape would do. These two need some therapy! But, they are making some progress, especially on Harry's side, not giving in to the goading. Good Boy, Harry. And Snape is trying, I'll give him that. I am really ready and looking forward to the big reveal! I am very antsy for it. Your fast updates have been making me extremely happy, I hope you keep them up. This story is my favorite so I'm so excited you have kept with it. Thanks so much for your hard work!

    It seems like we are getting closer to finding out what is causing Harry's magic outage. I'm interested in what will happen at Hadrian's b-day party. I did think Mrs Weasley might force the attendance of her children if she know about the invites.

    I think Snape is beginning to suspect that not everything that comes out of Harry's mouth is a lie or exaggeration. Good job on the chapter.

    Thank you for the update. Your character development continues to be very good. You keep the plot moving. Now I am wondering what is going on with Draco and his father. Is everyone really watching Harry so intently or is he just paranoid.
