    THIS IS SO AMAZING.

    I LOVE HOW SNAPE IS FLAWED, AND AMAZING, AND...FLAWED.

    also I love how I start reading it, feel how amazing it is, and then forget about it for awhile, forget where I was, and then pleasantly read a bit more, and then do it all over again. Maybe I'll actually finish this time, since I reviewed. XD

    I love how Snape is slowly trying to gain Harry's trust. Aw, i'm going to cry

    So where is Harry going to go now, with Snape? Oh, I don't even know how old Harry is in this. I forget. Sorry.

    I was so surprised to see this story had been updated and so excited to read the latest chapter. I certainly wasn't disappointed!

    Loved the chapter all the way through. I especially loved Snape's nickname for Harry. I hope he uses it again sometime. You've done a great job keeping everyone IC and not rushing the Snape/Harry relationship. Wonderful job!

    Oh, thank Merlin!

    I was SO worried you'd abandoned this story, which I must say is easily my FAVORITE portrayal of both Harry and Snape in a fanfic. Not only are the events they go through intriguing and dynamic, but they are so loaded with character development that I think you've ruined me for most other works of fanfiction.

    Your characterization is very well done; you've taken Snape and Harry from chapter one, where they literally fall off of Rowling's pages in terms of canonic realism, all the way to twenty-something or so odd chapters later where Snape has become the single adult at Hogwarts whom Harry trusts most implicitly - and it's done with such subtlety that I BELIEVE every word of it! BRAVO!

    I very much love that even though your Snape is bonding with, and beginning to understand more of Harry, he's still believable as CANON Snape - something that I find many other incarnations of the character lack.

    Anywho... All else I can say is that you've done a marvelous job, and I expect many more updates, much more frequently! (If you make me wait another half a year for a new chapter, I may deteriorate into absolute madness!)

    Very, very good chapter. If, as one reviewer commented, the dialogue occasionally seems "disjointed", I think that is actually following the feelings and thoughts of the characters. Their feelings, Harry and Snape that is, *are* disjointed. Neither is sure what they should feel or what they should say or how they should act and your writing reflects that very well.

    Great to see this update!

    First let me say that I love this story and I'm very glad you updated. Your writing has a lyrical, almost poetic quality that I really enjoy.

    Given this, I hate to be critical, But I must admit that I found this chapter to be a little disjointed, and the dialogue a little forced. Severus and Harry seem to be totally in character though, and I really appreciate that.
