That was a beautiful chapter! I love how supportive Ron and Hermione are and how they are so protective and devoted to Harry. Their surnames may not be Potter, but they are Harry's family.
They made some interesting points about Harry's relationship with Snape and I was actually glad to see Harry hesitating and giving it some thought. I want Snape and Harry to become close and to heal one another, but Snape does seem rather unstable right and I don't want Harry to be a door mat for him either. Snape's conduct the other night was inexcusable. I know he feels horrible about it, but he does have to learn to let go of some of his anger. Harry's not the only one who needs Healing.
I'm curious about what's up with Dumbledore. If he's really hiding out in the Room, if something has happened to him. Because if he is healthy and all, then it seems irresponsible of him to abdicate his duties, both to the school and to Snape and Harry, and hide out.
I'm worried about Harry ignoring Umbridge's summons, too. I hope he'll be able to get away with saying he didn't hear her, but she is so vindictive and petty.
I was so happy to see a new update and I'm so eager for the next chapter.

It would be helpful for those of us who check back regularly to know if you have suspended this story indefinitely.
I really love how this is developing. I've finally caught up with you and will have to anxiously await the next installment just like everyone else. That's what I hate about catching up, you know? ;-)
