This is an amazing story! You made everyone so in-character.Even when you made Dumbledore a bit evil, you still showed he had feelings. I love how you made the relationship between Harry and Snape so realistic. Absolutely lovely writing!
Well, it's good Harry got all this off his chest and that Snape now understands how Harry was feeling the other day. I definitely can see why he was feeling so irked, now that he’s explained himself. Hopefully, things will go a little smoother now, at least for a while. Though, it seems Harry still feels some conflicting emotions regarding Dumbledore.
Please post again when you can!
i'm not worried a bit about dumbledore. please update soon, this story is really good, and it might just be me, but it seems like its been a long time between updates

another brilliant chapter. the thing i love about this story lately is that their interactions always seem to be on the verge of getting derailed / blowing up / going pear-shaped... and yet somehow they always manage to JUST BARELY negotiate their way thru, like a beginning rafter somehow miraculously making it thru the rocky rapids unscathed after a dozen close shaves.
Another stellar chapter. You are working with a Snape who really was petty and vindictive and who is now having to face that and try to change. And Harry is having to learn to open up and figure out what he needs from him. And even though it's hard, it also is hopeful.

Aw, I love this chapter. I wish that Harry could just get away from the Dursleys and be with Snape. It seems like they have come to a mutual understanding, and I think that Snape, the way he is now, would be so good for Harry.
Harry really needs a father-figure in his life.
