I loved it. You're a tremendous writer. I hope after you finish this story that you continue to write, because it would be a shame for you not to. Honestly.
By the way, the part where Snape gave his memory of James to Harry was lovely. It made me tear up.
I am dying for the next chapter. Dying, I tell you!

Yay! They're out! And we got to see a gleeful Snape! hehee Fantsastic chapter all the way. I can't WAIT to see what they do to Dumbledore for this fun event they've endured. I can just see Dumbledore grinning at them as they come through, ready to show them what they've learned.

So, Harry returns becuase he decides that Dumbledore has actually had more of an influence over Harry's rotten life than Severus has. If he had kept the memory of his parents death, over time it would have answered his questions, consoled him due to his parents love, and it would have faded over time. Instead he gets to relive their death vividly. Then, he returns to Snape and Snape becomes the only person to not leave him. For Snape, Harry becomes the only person who ever returned to him after leaving. Quite a bonding experience. I can't wait to see how they continue forward.
I really liked this chapter. I've seen a lot of people speculate that Dumbledore learned the details of what happened at Godrics Hollow through baby Harry's memories. I can even see why he might take them, assuming a 15 month old might still be traumatized by seeing a parent killed. However, it does make it very hard on Harry to get those memories back as a teenager.
Glad to see Harry going back for Snape.
