Poor Harry! I've never bitten through my fingers but I imagine that he is going to be in some serious pain especially after falling. I am definitely looking forward to seeing the arrival of Draco in the next chapter!

Wonderful chapter, I really love this fic. Can't wait for Chapter 20 to see how Snape reacts to Harry thinking he's being sent away.
BTW, love how every once and a while you sneak in Harry calling him or thinking of him as "Daddy" instead of "father". Very realistic and very cute.

Gosh, I didn't realize how seriously he had injured his hand...poor thing. I really enjoyed the bit with Hagrid. I think you did a nice job with the dialogue between the two. Also, Albus's announcement that Snape really is Harry's father was well-done. Sometimes in fics where Snape is Harry's biological father, it's discovered too soon before the two have a chance to develop a relationship. I appreciate how you left out that info until the 19th chapter. Thanks for updating your stories! After spending all day hosting a bridal shower, I was really pleased to be able to come home and relax while reading two of my favorites :)
Author's Response: Yeah, I wanted the two of them to have more to base their relationship on than just blood ties, and am glad I waited. The hand injury will be mostly dealt with next chapter, but will have lingering ramifications for a while, psychologically, too. Thanks for the review! (And get some rest! Preferably with chocolate. ;-)
Yay! Another two chapters for me to read! I don't know why, but I haven't been getting every notice of your updates - but I don't mind reading a couple of chapters at a time :)
Poor little Harry. I wonder how big the chunk out of his hand is? Either way... *Shudders* Poor guy.
Yeah, totally called Snape being his real dad. DIDN'T call that he looked as he should, to Snape, this whole time. I always picture Harry as Harry - no matter his parentage, but I still love it :)

Author's Response: Hm, don't know what's up with updates, or lack thereof. But I update just about every day, on one of my stories or the other, so you're safe just checking them out. All the questions about the hand injury will be answered next chapter, which should be tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest. Thanks for the review!

Lovely chapter! I like how you give a realistic quality to the emotional parts of the story...like when Harry tells Snape that he loves him. It's not like a "Gee, Dad..." Leave it to Beaver kind of moment, but it's almost as if Harry looks at him curiously...probably the first time he's ever known what love is. I just really loved that part...and the nightmare scene. You know Snape truly loves Harry, because he can't stand to see him suffer.
And Hagrid! I loved his appearance! Snape won't freak out at Harry's absence, will he? I'm anxious for the next chapter to find out what Snape discusses with Dumbledore! Oh, and also can't wait for the Draco chapters :)

Awwwwwww...he met Hagrid! Now I hope nothing will happen to make him scared of Hagrid. hopefully they will remain friends.
