Really good chapter! I like Snape's attitude and though he understands a lot, doesn't understand all of it and knows he's out of his league. He's not all knowing but does know a lot, which makes it all the more believable.

I love it so far! You do a wonderful job of making Harry's predicament and emotions seem real. I can't wait to find out what happens...
I wonder how Snape is planning to prove that he had good reason for taking Harry from the Dursleys. If he heals everything, and Dumbledore decides to play dumb to save face, Dumbledore could try to send Harry back. That would probably be the end of Harry right there, even if he physically survives it.
I can't wait for Snape's revenge.
Finally! It was really maddening, waiting for Snape to get there.
It's hard to see right now how Harry can recover from this.
Great explanation for why Snape decides to take him, instead of dropping him off where he could be someone else's problem.
