Brilliant as usual. Can't wait to read more.
OMG!! I'm so glad that Severus wasn't too hard on Harry and that he's taking care of the poor little thing!!
But you're making feel kind of bad for Dumbledore as well - I'm glad he's beginning to realize what he's put Harry through, and I hope he's going to try to make amends!! Spot on Minerva characterization too!!
Great chapter!! Scarlett
Amazing what it took, for Albus to finally realize... nothing short of having it forced into him. He really seems to have lost touch with his humanity - and it looks like this made him re-evaluate - seems he had fallen prey to believing in his own infallibility - now he knows better. Sigh. I do hope that Severus does not punish Harry for this? He really needs patience and help, not pressure or punishment for something even he did not know would happen... seems that reference to Ariana is entirely appropriate!!
Poor Harry and Dumbledore. At first, I was afraid Harry was blind, when he was clawing at his eyes, and was relieved that he wasn't. I do feel bad for Dumbledore too, though, I know he needed to see it all as well. Perhaps not in the way that he did, but alas, Harry is most definitely not perfect, lol.
Can't wait for more :)

That was amazingly powerful, as was the rest of the story so far. It takes a hell of a lot for Albus to learn, doesn't it?
It's about time that the manipulative old bastard had a reality check. It certainly can't hurt for him to actually understand completely what is happening to his pawns.
I really, really loved this chapter! Snape is handling the situation pretty well, I think. After the last chapter, I was afraid he was just going to be too angry, and he was at first, when he didn't answer when Harry was calling him. But when he saw how badly affected Harry was, he calmed down a bit, and went to him. I think he may be understanding the extensive damage done to Harry better now.
I'm so glad Dumbledore was able to empathize with Harry, too, and feel compassion, not just react in anger. It's a good thing that he's not going to push Harry, but allow him the time he needs.
It really doesn't seem like Harry will be recovered enough to begin classes on time right now. Can you imagine how he'd react to Draco Malfoy? But if he isn't ready, I hope Harry won't see not meeting this goal as a failure, or if he does, that Snape will be able to help him realize that he's been hurt badly, and you can't put a time limit on the recovery process.
Looking forward to more!
Excellent decision to bring in Minerva to talk with Albus. I really think that helped bring out his sort of "epiphany" about Harry, much better than it he'd been talking to Snape. For Dumbledore to tell Minerva worked quite well and we get to see her taking it in, too.
Superb chapter.
