Ooh! GO Harry! I'm kinda- don't take points!- glad that he got into Remus, for some reason, I just really like Snape and how he protects Harry. Remus always seems too soft, making Harry out to be a child, and after what happened to him in your story- he is definatly not a child. I'm also really glad that Harry is willing to move on, although there wouldn't be much of a plot if he just gave in. I really can't wait for more occlumency lessons, they're always so intense! I just love this story and how Snape and Harry's relationship has progressed and matured. Please keep reading and don't change Snape once he becomes Harry's guardian...his characterization is right on the ball and amazing!! Good luck with the upcoming chapter!
Oh, man, I wasn't expecting Harry to become hostile towards Remus, but for some reason, I think he deserves it..a bit anyway. Even in the actual series, the Order pisses me off at times. They never informed Harry of anything it seems.
Excellent chapter, though!...I wanted to punch my fist in the air when Harry told Remus about the guardianship so easily...and, you know, the last line made me happy too. lol. I love it, love it, LOVE IT!!
That ending tantrum was fantastic. I love hearing Harry finally telling people what happened to him and how he felt about it. It sort of heals something in the readers too, ya know?
i need mooooooooooore! this is one of the best fics i've read so far.
I hope it was cathartic for Harry also. It seems that he and Snape have reached a new level of trust, and that can only be good for Harry. Harry is so naturally strong that it is almost impossible for him to lean on adults when it is necessary.
Wow, this story is just getting better and better! I am really amazed at the depth of character you've adapted to Snape and Harry while maintaining J.K.'s original characterization. I can't wait until Wednesday (or Thursday). I just hope that Harry dosen't tell Remus what happened while he was captured...it would make Harry's relationship with Snape less important. Keep writing!
I really, really love this story. I really, really do.
I think you're doing a most wonderful job! I'm sure it must've been hard, as the issues you're dealing with here are really serious, but you are handling them very well and doing them the justice they deserve. I can also see how it will be cathartic, too.
Poor Harry! *huggles him* I really hope those bastards pay for their heinous crimes, you know. Uuuugh ... I'm feeling enraged on Harry's behalf! ...Which just proves how great of a writer you are, in that you can get me so drawn into your story! Thank you for the update - I can only hope that you update again soon, since I'm so very anxious to read the next chapter!
*deep sigh*
That was *almost* as good as a hug. :)
Wow! Every time I think you've written your best chapter, you surprise me with an even better one. I now have such high expectations of you (smile). Anyway, excellent chapter. Snape has such an amazing understanding of Harry's emotions. And Harry is finally realizing, although a bit reluctantly, that Snape is someone he can trust.
I have to admit that I almost cried at the mental picture you created of Harry going off to pull himself together, again, and of Snape waiting for him. Very powerful. Thanks for the update.

Wow. That was incredibly intense. I can see now - I know that people who have been traumatized, can act very similar to those with severe ADHD, but it is the mind's response to the trauma, not truly the genetic brain dysfunction. When the trauma is dealt with, it goes away. I think I see now that is what you have bneen showing us?
Yeah. Wow. I am glad that Harry has finally come to that point, not just buried it, but actually started to deal. And that he now recognizes that he can trust Severus.
Severus' observation about common decency, not really being at all that common, I have to agree is too sadly, absolutely true.
Great chapter!
