    Oh man and they were geting to be so close! I don't know if I like this new turn of events. I hope you up date soon and Harry gets set straight! He realy needs the father figure that Snape is turning into. On a side note wouldn't it be easier for Snape to just aproch the Dursleys about them giving up their gardianship rights to him? That way Dumbles wouldn't be able to say a thing. Well anyways I hope you fix things between Harry and Snape.

    This story is excellent; I love the Harry and Snape interaction, especially in reference to Lily.

    Gah, I love this story so much. Although, I'm not sure I buy Harry leaping so easily to think Snape betrayed him.... after all the bonding he's had. I mean, the man has been there for him through everything. I think that part needs a little more development, perhaps.... like showing the thought process Harry has.

    That's just my two cents. Seriously, though, this is one of my favourite fanfics. :)

    Author's Response: I admit it was a quick turnaround for Harry, but then, he has had nothing but betrayal from every adult who has ever claimed to want to help him, and from every adult whose responsibility it has been to help him.  He's wired to suspect, and it didn't take much to unravel the hard work Snape has done to get Harry to trust him.  But this issue will definitely be addressed in the future, including Harry's tendency to leap to conclusions, sometimes erroneous.  Thanks for the review!

    Great chapter, a new twist was added!
    Poor Harry, he must feel like he's been betrayed :( Of coarse, from what he heard I can hardly blame him for coming to that conclusion.

    I can't wait to read more and find out what the Slytherin trio come up with for a plan. I also wonder how Harry will behave if he runs into Snape now? Please post again when you can :)

    Author's Response: Thanks!  The next chappie is from Snape's pov, and he still has Summer News to impart to Harry, but it will be taken with a different eye than it would have been before Harry started to suspect Severus of malfeasance. Naturally.  :)

    Oh no, of all people to hear that conversation, it had to be Harry.

    Too bad for Draco that he couldn't make a couple of scores (and that his mum wasn't there)

    Those three (the silver Slytherin Trio) are going to be in so much trouble.

    Oh Harry... if only he hadn't followed his Gryffindor tendancies and flew after Quirrell. Then he wouldn't be doubting Snape right now. Shame on him! Anywhos, great chapter and congrats on winning best chemistry! :)

    Great chapter!! Poor Harry to have to distrust Snape after growing to trust him! What angst. And poor Snape too because he won't know why Harry no longer trusts him.
