Reviews For Better Be Slytherin!
Author's Response: Thanks!
Author's Response: Yes, it is. I update both places (here and there) at the same time.
I really like the times Harry spends with Sev, Harry can feel like he’s part of a family. I thought it was really great when Sev showed Harry his mom's sketch and how Harry made another one for Snape. It’s nice that Harry has a connection with his mom other then his eyes, too. Please post again when you can! Author's Response: Thank you! I figured, with Snape and Harry acting more friendly than in the books, it only made sense for Snape to share memories of Lily with her son, and giving him that connection he was so lacking before. And yes, Ron and Harry will be . . . more civil to each other after this. Thanks again, for your review!
Wonderful job so far! I'm on the edge of my seat to see what happens next (and I'm so excited that Ron and Harry are at least civil to each other in the end of this chapter).
Author's Response: Thank you!
I also like the natural way Harry and Ron seem to be starting to become friends. Well done, well enjoyed, well appreciated! Author's Response: Thanks! I am trying to make Harry and Ron be more civil, at least. We'll see how it works out.
Keep writing! Thanks for the update. Author's Response: Well, updates are a little slower than they used to be, but not too far between. :-) Thank you for reviewing!
Author's Response: Yeah, a bittersweet ending, to be sure. But there'll be more fun ahead! Thank you for reviewing.
Author's Response: Thanks!
I'm glad to see Ron beginning to come around. I like Harry's Slytherin friends a lot, but I like Ron and Hermione too, and it's good for him to have friends in both Houses. I felt so sad for Harry when he saw his family in the Mirror of Erised. That's always been one of the most poignant scenes in the whole saga to me, and I really like how you added the extended family and not only his parents. And Severus, too, with him and James apparently getting along. I love how Harry is considering Severus as part of his family, and it's a nice counterpoint to the fact that Severus also feels paternal towards Harry. But hopefully, Harry can have Severus as a parent figure in this universe. Fantastic job as always! Author's Response: Harry seeing his extended family in the mirror of Erised is in the original, actually. I took the description from the book almost whole cloth. But the bit about Severus, obviously that was me. :-) Ron and he will certainly be more civil after this experience, and yes, it's good for Harry to have friends in both (maybe even all) Houses. That's what the Hat says, anyway, lol. THank you for reviewing, Kristeh, as always. |
