Wow that was an intense and emotional chapter! I'm glad Severus was there to stop Avery and I really hope that Dumbledore will expell that rotten boy too. Great chapter and I cant wait to read more!

I've never reviewed an End Note before: Yea!!! I'm soooo glad that BB could defuse Snape to some extent. Then again, with Obliviate or other memory charms, rape could happen easily in their world and no one would know.

I really love all of your stories. This is my favourite one. I think Snape should be portrayed a little more bitterly and less... understanding, to be honest. Then again, I like and understand that he knows his Slytherins. In any case, I hope you continue this (haha, it would be neat if it went through all of Harry's school years :P)

ah, this thing with gaius makes me nervous. i mean, i'm all for angst and i love it, but harry doesn't need the creepy guy perving on him. but snape will protect him. and i love how snape is trying to get custody of him, essentially. your updates are fabulous, as always. keep up the great work!!
It's about stinkin' time Snape offered! Well, they almost got there anyway, lol. Thirty-five chapters is pretty good timing though, I must admit. I'm amazed at your ability to put it off until it's the right time. It must be hard to work towards it.
I really wish Hotmail and Gmail and whatnot would let me know when you're updating -- it's disappointing to me that this has been up for five days and I never knew *sniff*. I'm glad I looked into it, to find out, though :)

Great chapter as usual. Glad you had more time to write. I'm interested to see where you go with the Gauis thread. He seems creepy and predatory, regardless of his Death Eater connections.
This has turned out to be one of the best stories I have read. I look forward to each update and honestly wait impatiently for each of them.
I hope that harry starts to trust someone soon... even if its only the Bloody Baron and Snape. I do like the way you are portraying snape... he's good reasons for being closed and angry and just needs to see around his preconcieved notions.
