Yes!! Severus is awesome!! I just love your Severus - now that he's gotten his head out of his bum!!
Poor Harry!! He's always asking for people to tell him the truth and now that Severus has, he's found out he's in danger of being killed by a professor!! I live in hopes that Severus will just quietly kill Quirrell so that Harry doesn't keep having to look over his shoulder all the time!! Does this make me a bad person?! LOL!!
btw, I didn't actually get an update notice for this chapter - I got an update notice for another story and when I check the recent fics, I saw this was there - just thought you should know!! I do check for updates/new fics every couple of days anyways, but if others don't check as often they may end up missing this!
I'm sorry you have a sinus infection = they are just incredibly nasty and painful!! I do hope you're feeling better, and I thank you for updating even when you're feeling like crap!! Scarlett

Hi. I am really enjoying your story. I just found it and it is absolutely wonderul. Your Snape and Harry and both wonderfully written and in character. I am also really having fun getting to know the other Slyterins. Can't wait for more.
Oh holy sh*t!! Can I smack Dumbledore really hard?! I can't believe that he and that old crab McGonagall are actually suggesting that Harry is cheating just because he's Sytherin!! I hate how the Slytherins' are treated in canon, and you've managed to reflect it nicely here - I'm so glad that Harry has Severus in his corner now, as I know Severus will do whatever it takes to keep Harry safe, and help him succeed!! Terrific chapter, and as always I look forward to more!! Scarlett
Great chapter! I loved the discussion between Harry and Severus. It took a lot of courage for Harry to ask if his father's past behavior influenced Severus' treatment of him (even if he did go about it in a roundabout way), and I was glad that Severus restrained himself and responded appropriately.
I'm a bit with Dumbledore at the moment--he really is prejudiced against the Slytherins, and that's not good. I hope he'll come around at some point. But it's great to see Severus assuming the reponsibility of protecting Harry, too.
Looking forward to more!

Yikes. Dumbledore's a bit scary. I love the way that you're unfolding this story!
I don't have much new to say about your stories, but I continue to enjoy them as much as when I first started reading them, and I figured a review can't go wrong (so long as it isn't a flame). I think the Dumbledore you portray is slightly different from the book, but I think he's accurate with regards to Harry being placed in Severus' control. Keep up the great work!!
I really liked the way you handled the conversation between Harry and Snape regarding James and Snape's reasons for his earlier treatment of Harry. This is one of the things you do very, very well, stretching out this kind of tense and emotional scene, without going overboard into sentimentalism, but keeping a lot of depth as well as suspense as the reader waits to see just how the characters will react toward one another.
Excellent chapter as always! I'm glad Harry has finally been able to catch up on his studies. Keep up the outstanding writing!

Wow, wow, wow!!! Okay, I'll stop saying that. But really, I loved the chapter and I am hoping that there is another update soon. That was one superb chapter, especially the conversation between Harry and Snape. They seem so in character, it's something I would love to have in my story.
