Reading this chapter makes me wonder why I wasn't one of those people nagging you quite nastily for an update. Luna's voice in this is so perfect. I am now quite concerned for her health and recovery and SO sad for her about her father. I also adored Dumbledore's letter. It is exactly in tune with early-canon!Dumbledore.
OMG. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Welcome back, and please accept all my love and devotion for this chapter, even if it is slow. It has Snape, so I don't think anyone will mind.
The potion inside resembles sludge from the bottom of the pond where she goes in summer to catch marshwiggles.

LOL, you can totally hear the cogs going around in her head as she figures things out - but then again she is a little damaged at the moment so it's totally ok XD
AND SNAPE. OMG. See, I think that your Snape has always been the best Snape I've ever seen, apart from the dearly departed original. I mean, he's so much like ... an onion XD With lots of layers and goodness and he is totally awesome.
Arr I have to go before your amazing writing totally destroys my work ethic and forces me to sit glued to my computer instead of doing other (maybe not so important) stuff. But seriously - welcome back and can't wait for the next chapter and the forthcoming epilogue (even if it takes a year XD)

Awesome. I like your Snape and I like Harry, not quite as whiny as some abused Harry's are.

bloody brilliant, i read the first one and this one all in one day... seems to be a habit with me, tho. if i get into a book theres nothing stopping me. do please update soon.

You are an excellant storyteller/writer.
You kept true to the personalities of the characters, and I like the plot line. It's nice to see Luna play an important part in the story. I can't wait to read more.

I don't read het fanfic. RL has quite enough of that, thanks. But I am really enjoying your story and may I say that this is the first fanfic that has a het pairing (A Year Like None Other can't count, as Harry has no romantic interest) that I've ever been interested in reading? Perhaps because it's Luna, after all, and I love Luna, and I hate the way she's shoved off with Neville in so many fics. I was (rather hopelessly, I know) rooting for Book 7 to end up with a Harry-Luna pairing.
If I can't have Harry/Ron, or Draco, or Charlie, or Cedric, or Oliver, I'll take Luna.
This is great!! I only found this site a couple of weeks ago. Prior to that, I had no idea that there was such a thing as fanfic. This is probably about the sixth story that I've read and I am very impressed. I think you have managed to make Snape's "evolution" very believable.
Please do finish the story when you can -- I'm eager (as I'm sure the rest of your readers are) to see what happens.
