    Well, that first Potions class didn't go so well, did it? I'd love for Severus to realize that Harry was in fact paying attention and taking notes. Hopefully at some point in the future, he will.

    I like Severus' and Minerva's good-natured competition about the House points, and the first flying lesson is good. It shows how Severus is already looking out for Harry's welfare even though he doesn't like him (yet?).

    Oh, wow. Poor Severus, and poor Harry. I loved how you took the canon beginning and showed Severus' perspective. It helps explain why he had such an instant dislike to Harry--imagining him to be just like James and expecting to be treated like a celebrity.

    But I do hope he'll come to see that he's wrong. Harry is about as far from spoiled and arrogant as a child can get, and he really needs an adult who will watch over and protect him.

    Looking forward to more!

    I amuse myself so with stupid anecdotes XD

    I always did wonder why Dumbledore just left Harry there ... then again, if he didn't the first chapter of the first book would be like fifteen pages longer, not to mention that we'd have missed that whole awesome exchange between Hagrid and the Dursleys in like chapter three (or whatever chapter it was XD )

    Now I'm off to read the sequel (again) and review XD

    Also - FINALLY you take your head out from your arse and start to breach the topic of abuse, Snapey. Tsk tsk. Usually you are so on the ball. Then again, you are remarkably stupid when it comes to Harry, so I guess I can forgive you. Maybe XD

    Plus: have I ever mentioned I love Roker? It's an awesome name XD

    So I remember the first time I read this chapter, I firstly was all like WHOOHOO Snapey cares, and secondly I was like, if his reaction to this incident is all protective and nuturing and stuff, I wonder what his reaction to every OTHER time Harry gets into trouble will be ... ?

    Lol - by the end of the seven years Snapey will be completely gray XD

    AWWW! Nice touch with the whole mirror thing - I like how Snape's all like omg-no-no-no-I-definately-don't-like-this-child and then goes off and sits next to Harry all night C: Poetic justice XD

    And gorgeous imagery there - what can I say? I'm a sucker for Snape/Harry moments XD

    Yay, Draco! Not usually a fan of Draco (he has always been a bit of a LOSER! in my eyes XD) but sometimes I can be forced to eat my words and this is one of the times. But only because Harry essentially bribed Draco into helping him, and not because Draco suddenly decided to show his Gryffindor qualities after being a complete noob all year XD

    Snapey, are you worried? Remember, first comes a backlash of long-forgotten emotions you've been trying to push down your entire life, and then comes Snape/Harry luff XD

    AWWWWW. My favourite line in the chapter XD Quiet disappointment is always harsher than outright anger X(

    Snapey: you are very cute. And quaint. Although you do spend a remarkable time shouting and being generally unpleasant. Not to mention your choice of vocation - tsk tsk. That can't be any good for your blood pressure. Here, have some chai tea. It will calm you down XD
