Good chapter! Once again, I was just furious with the Dursleys--such evil people. But Harry does seem to be making a little progress, slowly but surely. He does seem to be trusting Severus a little more, and it will be good for him to open up. I just hope he can come to believe what Severus is telling him--that he is a good person, and that no one should be treated the way he was with the Dursleys.
I'll be looking forward to more, when you can write it!

Why not go on vacation out of the country and take Harry to a mind healer? Abuse can have life long problems associated with it and they are fobbing it off on amateur efforts as if it was meaningless because it isn't physical. Seems to me Sev, Molly, and Albus are cheating Harry of his health care because of fear of the ministry even though Snape is his father. Yes, getting Harry to trust his father is important, and important to the story, but this kid is seriously traumatized (he has flashback episodes for gods sakes) and they are adding to his torture by not understanding him and exposing him to an environment that is not helping. Get the kid some professional help by hook or by crook.

With each new chapter, I love Harry and Severus a whole lot more. I just can't get enough of this story. I'm really enjoying all the Molly moments too. Great work on this chappy. Can't wait for more....soon, please. :)

Poor Harry! I wonder what he's hurt now?! Great chapter. I love the very *real* interaction with Charlie, as seen through Harry's eyes. "Tree" is a great addition to the story; and I always love Parseltongue bits in the fic!
Hehe, I loved the little remark about Ginny at the end there. Very cute :D
I tend to agree with Dumbledore in that the potion would be too harsh a punishment for Filch, but I wouldn't blame Snape for going that route. And I completely agree with Molly -- Harry needs a Mind Healer, somehow. Snape has the best of intentions, but it just isn't the same. :(

As a mother, I just LOVE Molly. The conversation she had with Severus was very well done. And she seems to know how to talk to him...I love to read their conversations.
Can't wait to read the next chapter.
