Such a sweet chapter! I just love the image od Snape sitting by the fire reading to a cute sleepy Harry in his lap along with Treacle of course.

Wonderful update. I guess Harry can go to school with the Weasley's as well.
Hehe! Soothing voice. Haha. I'd never thought of that... *Swoons at the thought of Alan Rickman's voice, though*
It really guts me everytime that Harry feels Severus is going to send him away. I just want it to get through to him, that he's okay, and not a nusance. I know, I know... that's the whole point of the story... but I don't know how much his heart - or mine - can take! ;)
I'm loving the idea of Molly taking care of Harry during the days. He needs a loving woman like her in his life. *Squee*
Yes!! Severus gets it!! I'm so glad that Severus apologized to Harry, and reinforced the fact that Harry isn't a freak and that his abilities are a good and natural part of him - I especially liked the way Severus drew parallels between his own fairly rare abilities and Harry's, so that if Harry couldn't hate Severus gifts that his own gifts weren't bad either!!

I can't decide which part was my favorite...Snape's heart to heart with Harry or Molly's heart to heart with Snape. Both parts were very touching!
And wow, I am a parent and forgiving yourself for mistakes is so hard...very insightful writing.

One thing: in the very beginning, did you mean to say that the cat lay on her back instead of her belly?

Author's Response: Hi Jade, Thanks for the review! Yes, I have a cat. In fact, I have four. Ack, FOUR!! Pounce, Cimmerian, Loki and Groo. Both Loki and Pounce like kipping on their backs in my arms, and making grabs at my hands, so I had Treacle do the same thing. Pounce, in fact, will often reach up with one of his front paws and pat my cheek while he's curled in my arms; it's terribly cute. Cuteness squared, really. Maybe cubed. Thanks again!

Severus making mistakes? Never! ;) It's good to see him being so human, sometimes. And Harry with his incredible pain tolerance! I mean, wow. I broke my toes when I was in high school, and I remember waking up in the middle of the night from intense pain, when I had wrapped the bandages too tightly... I couldn't even imagine how badly it would hurt, and for how long, before going numb *Shudders*.
I would really like to see Harry receive some psychiatric care. He's definitely been in need of it, and if he has any chance of leading light-hearted life (as much as HE can anyway, lol), I think it's prudent he get some. From personal experience - tramatizing events at the age of 5-7 WILL affect him later in life... and quite possibly all througout his teen years especially. But, of course this is your story, and I know you'll do what's best for your Harry :)

This was heartbreaking to read, which is a testament to your fine writing. I feel so anxious for Harry and Severus! I know what it is like to be a working parent...tough to find good house elves! II do hope he doesn't choose that prefect Rose though, I don't trust her). I do hope he gets good help soon. The stress is getting to me. Everyone needs more hugs! Great work!
