    Oh, I meant to ask - This was the Wrath of Snape. Will the next one be called The Search for Lupin? (running and ducking for cover.)

    I really liked this story.

    Author's Response: Actually I'm leaning toward that title, yes . . .  *huge grin*  Either that or The Search for Peace?  for Draco?  Somethin'.  :D

    That was a great ending for part two (and looking forward to part three).

    What I like about your story is you don't just let Harry recover from his abuse. The silence and the complete obedience is typical of a child who was abused. They always think that if they are perfect children, the abuse will go away.

    If I had been Severus, I would not have let my son out of my sight for a long time.

    Enjoyed it, enjoyed it (hmmm, did I mention how much I enjoyed this story.

    Thanks for reviewing!  The slow recovery from abuse (even given the resilience of many children) is what I wanted to focus on.  Children don't just bounce back as if nothing ever happened.  The events of Harry's 2nd - 6th years will stay with him for a long time.

    I'm so glad you're writing another part. I saw epilogue and then you mentioned Remus and I was thinking "No! She can't end it here!"

    So I look forward to that whenever you have the time to get around to it. Some Severus and Remus interaction would be awesome, and I can just imagine gentle Remus with your adorable Harry.

    Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing!  Yes, Remus will feature in Part Three, when I get to it.  His relationship with Harry is an interesting one to explore, I think, whether Harry is his best friend's son or not.

    I have greatly enjoyed your stories Whelt and Whelp II and cannot wait for the next part. The only thing i was ever uncomfortable with was the disturbing and extreme abuse Harry suffered at the Dursleys. As much as I hated the cliffhangers you conjured up for some chapters, i loved them as well. They kept me coming back for more. A Christmas interlude will be great.

    Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing!  The extreme abuse was hard to write, as well, I admit.  But almost every incident I put Harry through was taken from a real life incident (some, though not all, to the same child) . . . how scary is that?  I'm already planning the Intelude in my head.

    I had a few chapters to catch up on, and I'm glad I waited, because I think the suspense of the last few chapters would've killed me! Lol. I'm so pleased that you are making Sirius a reasonable, non-evil, loving (in his own way) person. So many other authors make him a bad guy, and that always bothers me, so it makes me happy when one of my favorite authors does something I like :D

    Great job! Can't wait for the rest!

    I cannot imagine Harry wanting to be near Sirius...at least not in the immediate future. He's too easily traumatized and it was totally annoying to hear Dumbledore push for Sirius while seemingly ignoring Harry's kidnapping. Severus shouldn't have to fight so hard for Harry and yet Dumbledore has pushed him time and again and Harry suffers each time.

    Yeah, Dumbledore does have his favorites, doesn't he.  He's always picked Sirius over Severus, and he doesn't know Harry very well, and has already been responsible for Harry's placement with the Dursleys, with no oversight.  And you're right: Harry's been traumatized enough by Sirius.
