    yay you updated and tottaly made my day....I was all glum today for some odd reason and then i open the site and I see you updated and I literally jumped off my chair and whooped lol

    gosh I luvs you're harry and snape so much..... okay so I'm trying to be really strict critic and I'm sucking -.- i can find absolutley no flaw.

    Gah! you make me jealous of your writing skills @_@ and yet I love you so much for writing this story xD

    Author's Response: Thanks so much for your enthusiastic review, Ayana :)  It was my first one for this chapter and it really cheered me up on such a gloomy Sunday.  To be honest, I get really nervous when I post new chapters thinking that they'll not go over so well...I don't know why I put myself through that, but I'll probably never get over it...lol.  But I do appreciate the lovely compliment, so thank you again!  And thanks for sticking with my story :)

    Really enjoying your AU of CoS. I've always felt that Dumbles tried to get Snape to see Harry as Lily's boy because if you have your Spy in the Overlord's Ranks and The Chosen One working together... well I'm sure things would go a bit more smoothly.

    An excellent new chapter. Thanks for updating. When Harry first heard foot steps I was like eh, it's only Snape, but then it was so much worse than Snape and I was like yikes. Very fun.

    Lemon drop for Snape for keeping his cool and listening to Harry's explanation. He is getting really good at this. I reread the section where he gave Harry the portkey at least five times. That was a perfect aww moment. He may not know it but I love how much Snape is growing to care for and dare I say love Harry.

    Yay!  I've thrown readers for a loop twice now!  lol.  Another reviewer mentioned something about being surprised over the whole hospital scene, so that made me feel good, considering I'm pretty hard on myself over coming up with the creative and unexpected ;)  I'm so, so glad that you enjoyed the portkey scene!  I mentioned it to someone else, but I was very nervous how that would work out.  Or if it would make sense.  But everyone seems to have picked up on its importance! 

    Hmmm...Snape loving Harry in a mentor-ish father/son way.  Doesn't that just give you the warm fuzzies?  As for me...Guilty.

    good chapter! i like harry's "plan" :) you've written him in this story as a very realistic 12 year old...

    Thanks!  I appreciate you giving my story a chance AND letting me know what you think about it so far :)  I know that Harry is supposed to be brave and mature and defiant (which I guess he still possesses quite a bit of the latter) but he is only twelve...and after hanging around my cousin who will be thirteen in about six months, it reminded me of how young twelve year olds ACTUALLY are!  In my opinion, I don't think that Harry would be any different ;)  I still try to keep my version of Harry as we expect him to be.  But I do also throw some realism in this story, which hopefully readers are able to relate to. 

    Wow, sorry to ramble...lol.  But thanks again for the review!

    If I were Ron, I really would be half out of my mind with worry and Harry, would share his friend's concerns if for not other reason than they are best friends. However, Harry is worried for Ginny for Ginny's sake too so I can well imagine he'd go to great lengths to see her.

    I loved it when he realized just where he was and who it was that was coming down that hall! Talk about your "oops!" moments. LOL!

    So Snape has given the portkey to Harry and cannot find the other one. He does not seem like a man who misplaces things, so, did somebody take it then? Hmmm, the plot thickens! And he is going to allow Harry to help. I wonder if Harry will be able to follow Snape's instructions when push comes to shove, even knowing the consequences to disobedience could be most uncomfortable.

    I know you said that this story is getting to be more challenging to write, but it flows beautifully!

    I know I already replied to this, but I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the time you take to review each one of my chapters during your busy life :)  Thanks, Tracy! 

    Oh, and about the whole 'portkey' question...I daresay you might be right.  *Holds breath* 

    Oh, and another thing...I like how you said 'when push comes to shove' because with Harry, even though he really tries his hardest, he's...still Harry.  And he loses his temper.  And he's twelve.  So of course, they're going to still have issues.  But what sort of adult and adolescent DOESN'T have tiffs every once in a while?  Yes, Snape is starting to wise up in the way he deals with Harry, but that doesn't mean he isn't any less strict when it comes to his discipline. 

    Anyway, thanks again Tracy!  Glad you got the chance to catch up :)

    Harry did beautifully with Ginny! I was impressed with Snape for being able to take care of Ginny and NOT come unglued when Harry didn't do what he was told to do. I'm sure that didn't come easily, but he managed to keep his head under a pretty tense situation!

    Loved the conflict between Ron and well, everyone! LOL! That boy does not do that whole worring thing well does he? LOL!

    Snape has really come round in this chapter and his efforts have certainly paid off too haven't they? Harry is feeling more comfortable and confident with Snape and his enthusiasm for those private lessons has only increased. Now to find out what is going on with poor Ginny!

    Not only do I have the urge to kick Severus in the shin by the end of this chapter, but I want to smack Malfoy up-side-the-head! If anyone could make a person so mad as to be able to use the kind of magic Harry did without meaning to, it'd be that boy! Although Snape may be coming in a close second presently! LOL!
