    I just want you to update, is all. Blaise being a boy or a girl... well, before it was made incredibly obvious in cannon that Blaise was a boy I'd see him written both ways, and as some people have not read that far, some still do, it's not a big deal to me. I just want more Snapey, please. :p

    Thanks for your opinion on Blaise. I'm still unsure what I'd like to do with that character. As for Snape, there will be a long-awaited scene coming up in chapter 15 between him and Connor. Thanks for reviewing!

    I'm sorry, I haven't been to this site lately for the last few weeks so I was unaware you updated! Here is my reveiw though:

    Ah, another great chapter. Yes, Snape returns! No, Snape isn't going to be in the story until Chirstmas is over! Poor Harry, I'd cry if I couldn't see Snape. This story is doing so well, you do a really great job. Harry is always fun to read, and I hope Snape returns again soon. It was really sweet of him to give Harry that book and to see him every Saturday.

    As for Harry's possible friends, I have much to say, lol:

    I think Harry should still be friends with Hermione and that Neville could be a closer friend then he was in the books.

    Fred and George! They can meet Harry on the train and find the kid is a fun person. The Weasleys are just to kind not to be nice to Harry. They can look at him as a younger brother and be shocked the kid was put into a supposedly bad House. Oi, not all Slytherins are evil, when will people learn that in every House there are both good and bad people?

    I really don't like it when people turn Harry against Ron. Yes, Ron is a bit bone-headed and stubborn, but he is also a very good friend and Harry's first, so I would hope you will keep them on good terms. They could hit it off on the train and they could run into some probs with Slytherin vs. Gryffindor, but they could be buds still. Maybe not as close, more like how the other Gryffindors in Harry's year are, not best friends but they hang out sometimes. Or aquantinces.

    Slytherins: I can't see Harry being friends with Draco. More like a rivery between the two, Draco is jellous and Harry can't stand a bully. Perhaps Harry can hit it off with some of the less important characters, Death Eater children would be a bad situation, but those whom are mentiond but not main characters would probably turn out to be prety good people. Theodore Nott, though his father is a Death Eater, perhaps his father could be not on the best terms with Voldemort and so there is some hope for the kid?

    As for Blaise, *shrug* supposed to be a boy, but I can deal. So long as you keep the character discription close. Besides, maybe this way there can be a good Slytherin girl?

    Author's Response: Thank you very much for your wonderful opinions on the characters! I still have not decided but I can say I agree with a few things so far. I don't really care for Draco so chances are he will end up at least neutral around Harry, since Harry is going to be a fellow Slytherin. As for Ron, he will probably stay neutral as well. He won't be overly enthusiastic about the BWL in Slytherin but he might learn to realize not all Slytherin's are bad. Like I said, I still have not fully decided everything so I might change my mind. Thanks so much for the review and I hope you enjoy the latest chapter!

    I love your story. I want to kick Connor to the kerb though - horrid man. I hope that Cathy dumps him and runs off with Sevvy - wishful thinking!

    Wow, there certainly is a lot going on here! Poor Harry and Cathy, totally misunderstanding each other about their argument. And I like that you write Harry as acting like a real child his age would. He's a great kid, very well-behaved and considerate most of the time. But young kids often do have a hard time handling disappointments graciously.

    Thank goodness they weren't hurt in the car accident. I'm curious to know if Harry did do something to protect them and if that was why he was so tired.

    I sure hope Cathy has the sense not to marry this Conner. As smart as she is, she ought to have noticed that he's having a hard time accepting Harry, but basically avoids him. And as a mom, she needs to be sure that Harry is comfortable with anyone she gets into a serious relationship with. She can't just think about if he makes her happy...she has to think about if he would be a good dad, too.

    Looking forward to more!

    Sometimes, I kinda forget to write Harry like the young boy he is, but I made a point to show him his age in this chapter. As for Cathy, she is falling for this sweet looking guy and doeesn't quite see the 'whole him'. Never fear. sooner or later she will discover that Harry and Connor don't really have that great of a relationship. I love reading reviews so thanks again!

    Oh, I just want to give Nick a big hug! He was wonderful, protecting Harry from the Dursleys, and being so understanding about Harry abilities.

    Sounds like Harry had a great birthday. I'm so happy for him!

    I don't normally review via the site, but I wanted to ask you to PLEASE keep working on this fic. I'm sucked in, going under... you get the idea.

    I'd like Harry to be friends with Hermione and a female Blaise. Ron annoys me to no end, as does Ginny. I like the twins' attitudes, but I *honestly* want to see Harry making friends across house lines, wherever he is sorted.

    Author's Response: Just so you know, I will always keep working on this fic. Should something happen and I can't work on it anymore, I'd at least give my readers a quick ending or something. Thanks for the review!

    Good chapter! I wonder if this Harry will be sorted into Slytherin? it would make it easier to develop a relationship with Snape - and he's certainly being slytherin enough with connor! Or even better what if he manages to attend Hogwarts as 2 students - harry potter, whom snape hates, and harry mckinley who Snape knows from the muggle world... ok that would be a little hard to pull off :) I'm not too concerned with who Harry befriends as long as there's no Mary Sues - I'd like to see him with canon characters, there's so much different in his life already. And no I don't mind if Blaise is a girl. Is the conflict with Connor going to come to a head soon? It feels like something is going to happen between those two...

    Author's Response: Yes, Harry will be sorted into Slytherin. As for Connor, well, he'll get to meet Snape soon and hopefully realize that he needs to back off of Harry. Thanks for the review and I hope you enjoy the newest chapter!

    Thanks for the new chapter.
    I would like him to be friends with Draco and maybe Luna when she comes to Hogwarts. And Snape of course. I don't like Hermione and Ron very much.
    Personally I hate when Blaise is made into a girl. Blaise is a boy's name even though there might be a few exceptions especially in America. But that's your choice. What matters the most to me is that I can read heaps about Snape.
