Wow. To say I am stunned would be a gross understatement. I am floored...but this time out of the many that you knocked me to the ground, didn't hurt, the landing was soft and squishy. *giggles*

Ok, loose ends? Well, I guess I'll have to look for some...hmm...

What was up with James? "Something wasn't right..." I'm curious as to what this would be, unless it's simply James and Lily knowing that Harry and Sev were not meant to be there at that time, and so they denied them access to their world. But where *was* Sirius? This does have me worried, although I know that Severus was telling the truth when he told Harry that Sirius was not angry with him. And yet Harry's nightmare didn't unsettle me as much as I thought it would, as I was reading it.

Ok, jumping around a lot, sorry.

And I have to say, "Yay Lucius!!" I know he's a slimy git and only helped out Harry and Sev to save his own family, but I'm ok with that...what else can you expect from the man? Hope his wrist or arm doesn't heal right, so it's crooked. (Was that too over the top?)

And Draco, who's really Tonks. That was genius. You're amazing...but bad Draco! Why are you such a spineless little puke? *huffs in exasperation* But, then again, what can you expect from him? I just hope that he's still tied up in his room, hidden. Serves him right.

Remus-Can I just say that I was sorta right on this point? Although you are a tricky one, this was amazingly cool. Glad to know that Tonks can think on her feet. Now go plan a wedding!!

Just out of curiosity, when did anyone ever end the sticking charm between Harry and Sev? All of a sudden, Harry was running towards Remus, towards Ginny, Ron, and Hermione...and Sev was staying solidly in place, or rather, Harry wasn't being prevented from moving. Just being picky.

And what was the potion that Sev refuses there at the Riddle house from Poppy? Sorry, picky.

Ahh, Bella. She just won't die, will she? That's too bad. But I love her anyway!

Awww...So Severus has a huge ability to love as well?... I did love how he was extremely uncomfortable with this information being put out into the open, although I wouldn't have known that was why he was squirming if not for Harry's lovely thoughts. Thanks, Harry, for once your head is in the right place!

    Loved these lines:
“As my role consisted mostly of lying in the grass behind you, I don’t think what I did can be really be classified as assistance,” Remus said with a twisted smile.

You made Harry laugh, Severus wanted to tell him, but his face remained passive. Harry was looking at him oddly. He turned to Lupin. “You helped,” he asserted and Remus, with a look between the two of them, smiled again.

    “Well then, you’re welcome Severus.”

Gotta love that werewolf and I'm glad he's not dead.

And Ron...geez, one day Severus is going to hex the heck outta that kid. But he was funny, good for comic relief, as always!

It's sad that no one will be willing to accept the fact that Severus had an amazingly huge part in the defeat of Voldemort. But I guess it does suit him to stay in the shadows, watching over his son, while he's bathed in the spotlight.

And those closing lines...actually the whole scene(s) from when Harry and Sev were alone, were perfectly perfect. I'm so glad we get to glimpse into their lives and see just how devoted and loving they are of each other. It truly is amazing.

Now, these are some loose ends, I suppose that I would like to see in the sequel, just for your information: How Voldie knew where Harry and Sev were.

Visit to Lily's and James' graves.

Awkward and ridiculous interviews with Reeta Skeeter.

Waste of time meeting with Scrimgeour.

And finally, how the wizarding world reacts to Harry Potter, the Boy-Who-Lived becoming Harry Snape, the defeater of Voldemort!

But mostly, I just want to see the story continue. You've created too much of one for me to be contently left in the dark with what happens in a world after Voldemort. J.K. left us a tiny epilogue, but you're writing a full-blown sequel, and I can't wait to read it!! Good luck with the new(!!) chapter and thanks for bringing me along for the ride through this world. I truly do appreciate it. Now get busy!!

    Author's Response:

Dang!  I was really hoping for a nice vacation, but since Snakey-poo's dead I guess the honeymoon is out!  :oP

Well, squishy is good.  We all deserved a nice, squishy ending after all that torture.

Yes, go look for loose ends and really the entire answer to the puzzle is in there....

'something wasn't right' referred to Harry's confusion that there was only two of them guarding the way to the beyond.  No Remus (becasue he was still alive) and no Sirius...

And nope, it has nothing to do with Sirius being angry with Harry.  nope.

lucius turned out okay...well, sorta.  hee hee.  a crooked arm.

Draco is spineless and thanks...glad you think I'm a genius. I had fun with dead Remus.  LOL  Wedding, check!

Erm...go read it again, m'dear!  lol  he did a bit of wand waving while he was talking to Scrimgeour.  It was a Potion, especially formulated for Severus that would ease his tension, like Harry's but not subdue him like Harry.

Bella is alive unfortunately.  Oh well.

Of course he has the ability to love beyond belief!!!  It's Harry!  Everyone loves Harry!  Okay, I'm punchy, but yeah, Sev loves.  YAY

Poor Remus, being of no help and yay for Sev for at least admitting to himself that he cares about the darn werewolf!  Woo Hoo.

LOL  I love Ron and though he's supportive of Harry and Severus, he can't quite be okay with the greasy git.  LOL

Severus is definitely a shadows kind of person.

thank PK!  I'm so glad you've enjoyed the live I've woven for Seveus and Harry.  I really have had such an enormous amount of fun and I love them so much.  It's sorta scary.  :oP

As to the loose ends...search 'em out and I think I can include most of those requests for you!  perhaps all...  ;o)

Now, these are some loose ends, I suppose that I would like to see in the sequel, just for your information: How Voldie knew where Harry and Sev were.

Thanks again, PK!  You've been so great as my little giddy buddy and such.  Thanks!  And thanks so much for all the great reviews!!!!

    Tabitha,
That was wonderful. I am so grateful that I stumbled upon this story. I love it that Remus isn't dead (you sneaky devil you) and that although Draco snitched to save his life, Lucius still stayed on the good side (if only to save his and his family's skin).

I am looking forward for more to come, but for now, I will just relax and enjoy our boys being safe and happy and Remus and Tonks making wedding plans - well, Tonks making wedding plans and Remus saying "yes, honey, whatever you want."

I wish I could give this an 11.

Author's Response: Thanks!!  Of course, Remus isn't dead.  Nope, love him too much.  I was evil though, wasn't I?  Hee hee.  Draco is a snitch, but hey he's just a kid.  And Lucius did what he had to do to keep his family safe, just like Severus did.  Interesting, eh?  I am looking forward to the sequel as well, so I am happ you are as well.  Thank you so much for all your reviews and for your fun on the board!  And yep, I do have plans for Remus and Tonks!  YAY  Thanks for the compliments.  *blushes*

Yes! I loved it, it was supurb and I can't wait for the sequel! I'm so glad you didn't kill Remus. You really had me going there for a minute! Awesome job!

    Author's Response:

Thanks!  I'm so glad you enjoyed it.  Of course I wouldn't kill Remus!  I hate pointless deaths! :o)

    totally awesome!!

I loved the closing paragraphs. Harry knew he was loved and Severus knew he loved his son.

I remember you telling me before when I spoke of my mom briefly. But some of your chapters are like poetry in motion. I need to start drawing again so I get down some preliminary sketches for some these stories! (I am soooo...procrastinating!)

    *sighs*

Hint Hint: I am the one with the March 18th b-day..at the group ..:)

Random off-topic note: I have a feelin' Harry won't be sittin' for a week in HAFAP.

Author's Response: Sketches, eh?  *claps hands*  I love artwork!  :oD  Hee hee.  I need to go read that update.  Thanks for reminding me!  :o)

Brilliant, Brilliant. Absolutely, brilliant. A wonderful use of perfect analogies and vivid mind-magic imagery. Your literary use of emotions and interactions simply astounds me. You are able to interpret such detail in such little grammar. Your few words say a thousand different messages....

Stop, the flames raged, twisting themselves around Harry in fiery anguish but the ice was too thick.

There was too much. Harry was numb. He could barely feel the heat of his father’s flames around him. It was his fault. His father was tortured…nearly killed because of him. Just like Sirius. Just like Remus. He destroyed everything he touched. Ginny… He would destroy her as well.

It’s my fault, the storm misted. I am weak, Harry whispered in agreement, so cold beside his father. The cloud was lightening, losing itself again. The darkness was calling to him. It wanted him. It needed him.

No Harry, Severus called him back with his gentle heat, only for the storm, even as he dug through it to seize the shards of Voldemort’s soul. He would remove them. You are strong, the flames assured him. You brought me home again.

I have said this with certain stories before, but it was wonderful Harry being the child and not having to be the adult. Here you see childish doubt and Severus standing up strong to support his precious son that something disgustingly evil wants to destroy. I won't ever wax poetic about how it was nice for him to take Harry's place before the battle when he did, because it has nothing to do with being nice.....It has everything to do with some of the strongest and purest love out there...

A parent's love for their child.

If this seems a bit off-topic or overboard.....I apologize....

My mom would of been 54 on April 9th, and next month will be the 2nd year anniversary of her death. She put herself protectively in my path and saved my own life numerous times.

Sorry for the emotional baggage....(Pisces here..lol)

Um, this seems a bit paltry against the rest, but Great Job, Tabitha. :)

    Author's Response:

Hey, Pisces here as well!  And I'm sorry to hear about your mom.  I hope you will have strong people around to get you through those hard days.  I know just what you mean though.  My dad died when I was 16 and I feel the same way about him.  I actually think (okay, I know) a lot of what I am writing here centers around my own feelings of what it means to be a parent and the wish I have that my dad was still alive and what it would be like if we had a second chance.  How, that for emotional baggage?  And absolutely no need to apologize.  :o)

Thank you so much for your kind words about the chapter.  It was really fun to write.  I sort of felt like I was writing poetry and I am not a poet!  LOL  You're right though, all of that was about Severus and the love he has for his son.  He is the strength there and Harry gets to be a kid, just like he was always meant to.  Thanks so much for the review and for your compliments.  They made me all fuzzy inside.  :oP

Now that was breathtaking! I loved the imagery in this chapter...the flames and the storm working together to destroy Voldemort's ice.

Now I can't wait to see how all this will end!

Author's Response: Thanks, Kristeh!  It was a fun one.  I've been waiting a long time to debut that particular chapter.  LOL  End coming soon.  :oP

Oh, I just don't think I can stand this! I do hope Remus isn't really dead. He just can't be, he just can't be...I'm going to keep saying that over and over til it's true.

I'm so confused about the Malfoys and what they're game is...which is of course what you want us to wonder. Of course it looks bad right now, with them bringing the Death Eaters so early...but I suppose it is also possible that there is some extenuating circumstance. I suppose I'll just have to wait and see about them. But if they are traitors...no fate is too bad for them!

I loved how Severus kept reassuring Harry, and how he switched places, or minds, with him to spare Harry from suffering, but I sure hope he wasn't really feeling it, either. How awful for both of them.

They both have courage in spades, too! I'm so proud of them, even while I'm terrified for them. I guess this is do or die time for the Charm. I sure hope it all works out!

    Author's Response:

    Poor Remus...

Well, the Malfoys have issues....  :oP

Do or die...yep.  And yes, these are both very courageous men.  I love them!  Thanks for all the review, Kristeh!  Glad you got caught up.

Title: Chapter 52: Frozen 11 Apr 2008 4:54 am

Okay, I cannot believe you left us on such an evil cliffhanger! It is truly evil, you know that, don't you?

We started the chapter all tense and worried, and then got to relax slightly as it was only muggles (hope they're safely out of the way now), and the guys left the house, and whammy! You left us with that ending!

I absolutely loved the talk between Harry and Severus as they waited for Bill and Remus, btw. Especially when Harry told Severus how he could have been Slytherin and Severus admitted that he had wanted that, had wanted Harry to be his again...that brought tears to my eyes, and more than ever when I read the 'one last time' phrase. Hopefully, you meant only temporarily and not one last time as in forever, because I don't think I could stand that.

Now I'm off to read more!

    Author's Response:

I love to be evil.  It's just fun.  :oP

That talk outside the tent is officially my favorite of the whole story.  It is everything that they are now.  I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much.  :o)
