Reviews For Lily's Charm
Author's Response: Hmmm...you'll just have to wait and see. Poor Sev and Harry. :o(
Author's Response: Well, that's one for it, anyway. :oP
Author's Response: Well, you are very, very welcome, Scorpia! Thank you so much. I'm so thrilled you enjoyed it! It's a fave of mine as well. :o)
Great chapter! Author's Response: LOL Angst coming right up....Lucky you didn't have to wait through all the chapters! :oP
Author's Response: LOL That would be hilarious. Hee hee. I love it. I'm going to work on that, though Cathy would probably love a stab at that as well. That reallly tickled me. Thanks!
And it was great to see the guys exploring the house together. I'm curious about James' possessions...what are they and will we see them again? Do they have anything to do with the plot? I'm glad to see that Harry realises he got off easy with his 'punishment' and that he is enjoying the time with his dad. I do know that Harry has to learn to control his emotions and understand the importance of that in relation to defeating Voldemort, but I'm just can't feeling that Harry doesn't really deserve to be punished for the fight with Plinth (or whatever his name was). He was severely provoked...I don't know that Severus himself would have resisted, for all his vaunted self-control, we have seen him lose it a couple of times, too...and Harry was just beginning to recover from an extremely difficult time. Anyway, I think Severus' response in having Harry stay with him in the evenings was perfect. He can justify to himself that he did something, that he didn't just let Harry off scott-free, but it's not really, truly a 'punishment', just a chance for them to spend more time together and continue to get to know one another. Loved seeing Harry interact with the young Slytherins, too! That was great, and I can't wait to see what's going to happen next with Draco, his mission, and the Malfoy family. Author's Response: I can't even tell you how happy I am that you got the whole punishment thing. It wasn't really a punishment at all, at least not in Sev's mind. But he was trying to make Harry feel more normal as his mates were severely punished by McGonagall (she went a bit too far, in my opinion) and it wouldn't have done for nothing to happen to Harry. It LOOKS equal as Harry is away from his friends during the same time as Ron and Neville. And yep, Sev knows he would have done the same. He barely restrained himself from killing at least 3 people this week. (Pinth, Filch and that Scorpius dude who said Harry should have just died), so yeah he doesn't blame Harry. Anywho, glad you saw all that. I love when that happens. The 1981 scene was so fun. I can't resist baby Harry! James' possessions are up next. That's all I'll say about that. Yay that you liked the Slytherins. I think I can just picture Harry being good with little kids. Don't know why really. Draco of course, is up next again. Thanks for reviewing!
Loved the scenes with Severus tending to Harry . He can be so tender and sweet, sometimes, but don't let him hear that! Author's Response: LOL Yeah, best not to let Sev hear that! That's sorta the case here, yeah...the horcrux affecting him differently. There's a little more going on as well, but you'll have to wait right along with Harry for all the juicy details. :oP |
