Reviews For Lily's Charm
I feel so sorry for Draco. And I don't like Moody too much. Hit him for me. Author's Response: LOL I would waaaay too scared to hit Moody. He'd kill me. LOL I'm so glad you enjoyed the chapter. And yes, James was appreciated way back then... Thanks for reviewing! I really appreciate it! :o)
The change of pace this chapter took…action filled…was so fascinating to me and terribly fun to read. Up to this point, OE has spent considerable time and effort (much to our delight and fanfare) building up the relationship between Harry and Severus, and it’s interesting to see how outside forces now test them. Yes, Halloween was also a time of outside influences affecting our boys, but their relationship wasn’t nearly as strong (at least from Harry’s point of view) as it is now, proved by how Harry reacted afterwards. I will continue to watch with high interest how the world now mucks with my guys and how they react to it together. Severus’ reactions at the beginning of the chapter reminded me somehow of that mother, who having realized that her child is in the road in the way of the city bus, becomes SuperMom and grabs them and throws them to safety. Because isn’t that kind of what he did when he grabbed Harry and threw him into the floo? And speaking of Severus here…that man can take charge. He puts Harry into the safest place possible in mere seconds due to Possessed Dumbledore, throws up a shield to protect Remus, subdues Dumbles, contacts Minerva and Poppy for their assistance, gets Minerva to cast a shield around the evil locket and I think he barely broke a sweat. I’m in serious lust with this guy. Yes, I know I need a life - don’t remind me. Poor Harry is just never going to get the hang of floo travel. And frankly, I couldn’t either because I have the grace of an elephant. Of course, getting flung at hyper speed doesn’t make it conducive to a picturesque landing, but heck…it’s got to be better than being in danger of a red-eyed possessed Dumbledore. *shudders* Poor Severus, he grabs Remus and heads to the safe house thinking, “Damn, I did a great job here and my son is safe” and he finds Harry sitting there with a bloody face. I could practically hear Remus gasp. (And I so wish it was as easy to mend broken bones and boo-boo’s for us as it is for wizards. Sigh.) I do wonder why the floo powder wouldn’t open for Harry, but it also gave me my favorite line from the story: “But I tried that exact incantation,” he exclaimed. “How very odd,” his father mused as he took a pinch of the Powder. Oh, I could just hear Severus saying that. And in such an innocent voice, as if Severus was innocent a day in his life. My second favorite line was Remus commenting on how Severus would never admit they were friends. Watch out Sev! You just might be calling Remus “my buddy” soon. OK, I know it will never happen but it’s amusing to think all the same, don’t you agree? I loved the cozy picture of Harry, Severus, and Remus hanging out in the safe house and discussing the horcruxes. But I won’t ponder yet if and when Severus realizes Harry is one….oh brrr….. More ponderings…why did the two horcruxes affect Dumbledore in that way? I refuse to speculate because I’m always dead wrong so I’ll have to wait until OE enlightens us some more. I’m glad I got to find out background on Pinth and what has happened to him. I’m not convinced we’ve heard the last of him but we’ll see. And Filch….why the heck does Dumbles keep him around? Even if he got a lecture from the old wizard he no doubt got a damned lemon drop or some such thing afterward. I just don’t get it. Ooh…I hate that guy. Can I shake him hard? I hope OE’s not planning on finishing this story in, let’s say, the next five chapters or so because I might need to go throw myself under a truck or something if she does. It would leave my children motherless and she’d feel awfully guilty (hint, hint). Almost forgot the hug…it goes to Harry of course. A broken nose has got to hurt like a dickens. Author's Response: Hmmm...this whole world meets boys things is giving me too many ideas....postcards, Cathy...postcards! I almost died laughing from your supermom anology...I don't think Sev would appreciate it though! LOL Where's my pic, Cathy? :oP And yeah, lust it up....me too! I love him. Yeah, Sev isn't really pleased with breaking Harry's nose. Too much guilt from his childhood. Poor guy. LOL So many questions about the Floo Powder. Hope you all enjoy the answer. I enjoyed that line too but of course I know why it wouldn't open. Hee hee. LOL about Sev calling him his buddy. Don't think so, Cathy! And lower your voice...Sev will not appreciate it! Hmmm....Is Harry a horcrux? I do believe Sev will have a heart attack if he is.... Brrrr is right. you'll have to wait to find out more about the horcruxes! Sorry.... Pinth...Hmmm. Filch....Hmmmm Five chapters you say? All right...we'll make it six! LOL Harry needs a hug, it's true. Poor nose!
Author's Response: Thanks. Horcruxes are fun, aren't they? LOL Glad you enjoyed it. :o)
Scorpia Author's Response: Really? You like Ginny more? *does a happy dance* I love that! Yay. I love Ginny but never felt there was really a great reason for Harry to care about her so much, all of a sudden, you know. So yeah, in this Ginny is one of the people that will be beside him through everything and it helps. Yay! Yeah...old Snape has surprised Harry again. And perhaps in a good way this time. :oP
Author's Response: Well, thank you very much. I really appreciate it and I'm so happy you're enjoying the story. I hope you continue to enjoy. Thanks so much as well for letting me know. :o)
Author's Response: I do too. Thanks! It's one of my favorites. Go Sevvie, indeed! LOL
Author's Response: What is NOT wrong with Draco! LOL I'm glad you enjoyed the emotions. Get ready for more! :oP
Author's Response: ROFL *taking a bow* You're too much, Scorpia!
Author's Response: LOL. You're too funny! |
