Reviews For Lily's Charm
Amazing chapter, as always!
I especially liked this chapter, because it shows how open and willing Harry is to love. He really has such a generous soul, and it balances out Snape's taciturn nature well. I don't think they'd ever be able to restore their relationship without that balance. It's been nice to see Harry taking brave steps forward, not sure if he'd be rejected, and then Severus offering reassurance in return. Anyhow! I'm glad that Remus is okay, and very curious about what he and Dumbledore might have been up to. My guess is Horcrux hunting, perhaps? (If there are Horcruxes in this AU, which I don't know if they are.) I'm very curious if Snape knows the truth about Harry and Voldemort's connection yet (if indeed Harry is a Horcrux in your world) and what Snape plans to do about it if so. I can't imagine that he'd just let Harry sacrifice himself, so I've been trying to figure out what alternatives Snape might concoct. Wow that was a ramble! Anyway, this story has me utterly engaged, and I'm enjoying being immersed in the world you created. It all feels so real. Alright, I'm off for more binge reading!
You develop Harry and Severus in such interesting ways, and I love the backstory you've created for them. I read this years ago, while it was still in progress, and I'm having a blast re-reading it now that it's complete. Anyway, thanks for creating such an awesome story, and taking the time and effort to share it with the world!
Some mistakes i pointed out is you have a little problem with paragraphing. But it does get better to the end. I think you really deserved it to be mentioned at The Economist. Good luck for your future endeavor in writing!
Absolutely wonderful. I love how Severus turned out, along with Harry. The events in between, the tension, the sheer love i can feel=Awesome. I like how you kept Snape strictly in character though. ^^ fantastic. Worth every bit of my time. |
