    I began reading "Shadow" in French on fanfiction.net last year and fell in love with it! (I'm up to chapter 25 in French.) it's great to see an English translation on P&S so that even more readers can enjoy the story! I especially love the characterization of the cat, and the way you have of putting your audience into his mind, seeing the world from Shadow's point of view! (Also, I hope you don't mind, but your writing was the inspiration for my pen name: I was reading about Snape speaking to the cat "en sa voix shadowienne", and I realized I'd found my pen name! Merci!)

    Oh wow! That was so emotional. I love how Severus is taking care of Harry so well, and how protective he is of him.

    Very sweet bonding.


    I'm worried about Loki though. Remus is letting emotion get the better of him and that could be very dangerous.

    Great chapter--I was astonished by how much was going on. It was a good one with Halloween coming too because of the creepy scenes you wrote about the Dursley's house. When Harry was worried about the who might pop out of the attic or his room, I had to go and turn more lights on in my house, lol.

    Anyways, I hope we get to see how Dumbley reacts to the locket. I can't wait to see what has been happening with it. I'm guessing that it's not a horcrux if it's been in the Evans' possession for years upon years.

    Oh, about the locket, trust me you will soon know about it! There is a lot more about it than meet the eyes. Actually there is an hint in Lily's letter that the thing is not exactly what it is supposed to... wait and see ;-)
