    "He Refused?" HE REFUSED?!? And he lead Harry to believe otherwise? Oh this is so not good. Harry is going to either "flip" or he's going to be crushed. This Loki had better NOT be Reums or I might need to find use for a good wolf skin rug.

    Yes, he refused, I can tell you, I was there! The man said 'no' outright. Just like this. No matter what. And trust me, that was NOT outof confidence in Severus!

    But no, I can already tell you that Loki is not Remus, though that was a nice guess ;-)

    Oh, by the way, I don't like Remus as a character. It probably will show....

    Really enjoyed this chapter. The scene between Harry and Severus got to me. Snape describing his love for Lily and admitting that Lily made the better choice in marrying James was well done. So many Sev stories think that insulting and belittling James is the way to go to make Snape the better man but I found this approach a more realistic one. I find myself respecting Severus more now. Great chapter and looking forward to finding out who Loki is.

    Actually Snape in this story at least, has a lot of pride but very little self-estim. He sees life as a succession of choices, and one's value depends on those choices... he did the wrong ones, contrary to James, who won Lily. Fair play. Except it's really not... but he understands.

    Ah well, a lot more about that later in the story!

    OK, while I agree with a lot of what Severus said, I really wonder how he could be annoyed with Harry about not returning. Didn't he make Harry promise to remaina CAT and, under no circumstance was he to change back? Can Cats activate the Floo? Ron and Hermioine couldn't as they were not in on the "secret".

    Well, this is an interesting bit of information, considering how odd it sounds. Guess I'll have to wait until next chapter to find out just why Lupin refused to come to Harry's aid…

    I'm curious about whom this Loki person is, perhaps a werewolf? Whomever he is, sure sounds like bad news. I wonder how long it'll take until Harry's curiosity brings him into finding out more information then he should on the subject, though I agree he shouldn't be left in the dark.

    Things sure will be odd for the Slytherins once Snape and Harry resume going to Hogwarts. Those Death Eater children, Draco in particular, obviously aren’t happy with these recent events and I’m both curious and concerned about what they may try to pull. Though Snape warned them, there’s always the risk out there…

    What I can tell you is that Lupin absolutely refused to come to help Harry, even though Dumbledore tried to push every button, and that's saying something.

    Loki... ah, Loki! This second part of the story could be names ' Loki'! About Harry's curiosity, oh, my, that will be a true issue very soon... will Harry ever manage not to listen at the door?

     

    There is not much death-eater children left in Slytherin actually, they wisely decided to moved their offspring to Durmstang, as Hermione and Ron found out at the Feat. But there still have enough of true Slytherins to be a problem, though...

    I am one of your quiet readers. I decided it is PAST time to give you a review - a glowing review, of course!! I adore this story - you make Harry being an animagus a believable transition, and I love how Harry and Snape have developed such a trusting relationship. There is plenty of excitement in your story, too, and lots of action so I am always anxious to see what is going to happen next!

    I adore Shadow the most, so anytime you have him center stage I am very happy as well.

    Thank you for the story, and many thanks to your awesome translator Rae Whit for getting these chapters to us in such a timely fashion!!

    Remus refused to help Harry?? Do tell. We're going to hear much more about this mysterious Loki and his relationship with Remus right? Are you going to bring in Norse mythology or just a reference? I still love the 'enraged puma' line. It cracks me up every time I read it. Great chapter and I can't wait for the next one.

    Yes, he refused, the nerve of the man! And no way he would even consider it, trust me. As for Loki, the plot will be all around him now, don't worry, a lot more to come!

    As for the Norse mythology, AH, you don't know how glad I am that this fictions was transted into English... not ONE of my French readers picked up the hint, when a good proportion of you people did! I keep saying that we should bring back those into school cursus, but no... oh, never mind. But yes, you are right, there will be a link, a strong one indeed!
