Author's Response: Ah, good point, I knew I should stop playing World of Warcraft while writting ;-) No, actually, it's more like a "aura" color surrounding someone's body, visible only with a spell. Something Snape can also feel quite well, as in this story, he has the usefull talent of 'feeling' magic ! Not a major plot line, mind you, but something that is going to be useful to him in a next future !

I'm glad Harry has got his own magic back though, and that he has Snape there to help him through it all. It's great that he truly has someone he can depend on and feel safe with. Hopefully Harry will eventually realize that the illusions he had were just that, and that his friends are alive and no one is disappointed in him. Anyways, as I always say, I look forward to reading more! Author's Response: Yes, you got it, the link that Voldemort created to steal Harry's magic is getting back on him ! It was a stupid game really, to try this kind of thing with someone who shares your mind. But you're right too, it might not be a very good idea for Harry to go into this, though the thought is exciting, he is already striving with his new power ! and that is sure to put him in a dangerous situation if he tries, which Severus definetely won't appreciate.
And yes, there is the problem of the illusions... ah, someone has his hands quite full here, certainly ;-)

The torture Harry endured was absolutely horrible. Poor guy, he not only suffered immense mental pain, but got sliced up by a bunch of creeps and is having his magic drained from him. Which is truly awful, as Harry would be devastated to lose it. Voldemort and his followers are truly sick. Good thing the draining of his powers seems to have stopped now… Severus was amazing! He did all he could to get Harry out of there, my heart was in my throat when the portkey didn't activate. Lily and the Marauders were brilliant as well. Didn't Harry dream about them coming to help? If so, guess it came true, and I'm glad it did! Sev really has his hands full now. He not only has to protect Harry physically from the danger of Voldemort coming after him again, but Harry has so much mental stress and confusion. Best of luck to them both. I can't wait ’till the next chapter :) Author's Response: Oh yes, Harry losing his magic would be very bad indeed... for everyone ! but Snape won't let thathappen, will he ;-) He will soon have his hands more than full, though... |
