    i don't know which ones you referenced in this chapter, but the mother's condition sounds kind of like '50 first dates' except more realistic

    I haven't actually seen that movie, but I know the premise.  I think you're right about that.  :)  I'm fascinated by the concept of memory and how it affects who we are.

    This is quite well done. I wasn't sure about reading it at first, and actually passed over it several times because I wasn't sure that I could deal with something so AU, and also with something that wasn't made to bring Harry and Snape together, but was made to show two sides of both of them. However, I read the summary so many times that I became curious about it and couldn't stop myself from reading it, especially considering there wasn't much else to do in Health class. After reading the first chapter, however, I realized that you really are quite a decent writer and I became intruiged with the story, and here I am at home reading it when it's not my only option, which is saying quite a lot about your story... If you'll excuse my ramblings?

    Curses! I checked your response to my last review, and saw that it didn't go all the way through! Well, can't have that, so here is a REAL review for this chapter:

    I thought is was really funny when Molly barged on in and started taking charge, Snape didn't seem to appreciate that, lol. Molly is awesome, she’s very protective and caring. I loved the twins comments, they cracked me up. I feel bad for Ron though, if the twins had put me on the spot like that I'd be mortified!

    I enjoyed Harry and Ron's talk, it was friendly and thoughtful .I can't wait to read the Quidditch World Cup, the combination of people should be an entertaining experience.

    Can't wait for your next update, I enjoy reading this story very much. I enjoy every chapter!

    P.S. As for my break off the computer, it wasn't done under free will... The web was down! *bursts into tears* ;p lol.

    Author's Response: Hmm, I thought that review ended rather abruptly.  Life without the Internet!  I don't think I would have survived.  ;)   

    The twins do like watching Ron squirm, hee hee.

    Oh, yay! Another chapter by Malora! I was waiting with bated breath, it did seem like this one took awhile. (Of course, that's because I looked at when you started posting and realized that you update *approximately* once a week, so...)

    Mrs. Weasley was hilarious. I adored how the twins believe she will knit Severus a sweater; and I hope she does take the pair under her wing. Severus's empty fridge was hilarious (I *like* beans on toast, lol!)

    The mental picture of the pair of them at the table, Severus in his half-destroyed duds, while the Weasleys tromped in - poor, but well-cared-for - was so embarrassing that I flushed on their behalf.

    I am really anticipating the next one. After that breakdown in the flower patch, I have to imagine things'll be a little awkward between Harry and Snape as Harry realizes what a berk he's been... or does he still have doubts about Snape?

    Yes, I fondly remember the times when I was updating every few days.  Sigh.  Try to see the delay as a good sign.  Before, I was just checking over my rough draft for typos because the draft seemed "perfect" as is.  Now, my writing has improved enough that I can look at my original rough draft and see all kinds of problems that need fixing.  So...long delays between updates mean...my chapters will be even better!  Right?  (Work with me, here.)

    Severus's fridge was in no way based on my own.  I have bread *and* ketchup, thank you very much!

    Sorry, i just have to say that the 'beans on toast gate' was brilliant, and to defend all beans on toast loving people. But really you made me laugh for about ten minutes with that little scene it was just brilliant, he was like a sulking child sitting there twiddling his buttons moaning whilst being told off, (I can just imagine the faces he was pulling lol) and then telling the mother hen to take her henning else where. lol.
    Can't wait for another chapter and more banter.

    Thanks!  Dialogue is one of my favorite things to write.  :)  I enjoy having words zing back and forth between characters.

    Like the chapter before this one had the closeness between Parallel Severus and Known Harry, I look forward to whenever Known Severus and Parallel Harry finally really connect.

    They were bound to take a little longer.  (Known World) Severus has had time to build more walls than (Known World) Harry.

    My favorite chapter, as you can probably tell.  :)  When I was creating the story in my head, the whole tale spun outward from this emotional point.
