Holy Wow, Malora! I am just starting this. I don't know where I've been. I can't believe I've never read this before and I am totally riveted. I am already invested in these two Harrys. Wow and just more wows. What a great promise and I already feel like crying for both Snape and Harry. Both Harry and the dad Snape. LOL Great chapters. I am going to read more now.
Author's Response: Thanks! I love getting new readers. They get to enjoy the early moments in the story that I haven't thought about in a while. :) I'm happy it captured your attention. Thank you for reviewing!

My web was down for a bit, but as soon as I spotted your update, I clicked on it in a heart-beat! Your ideas for the wards were very creative and interesting to read; I could clearly picture what was happening in my mind. The doe idea is also quite something; it is very deep and personal, and also very creative. You write so incredibly well, it’s easy to imagine what you depict and your ideas have all been great to read. I love reading your story very much, please post again as soon as you can. Can't wait for the next chapter! Brilliant and beautiful work as always!
Author's Response: Thanks! I liked the fact that the shared Patronus made sense as a protection but was also something very personal for these characters. And I've been working on including more descriptive detail in my chapters, so I'm happy to hear that you're getting clear images of the scenes. :)

Interesting idea with the patroni. But is this Harry's patronus a doe instead of a stag then? And just as Snape realizes that he wants this Harry around, this Harry has to deal with the loss of his mother. For some reason I thought this story was set post-OotP so I found myself confused by the "when Voldie returns" stuff. I'm sure this is merely a function of having to wait between chapters, but I didn't think that Voldie had dementors at his control this early or that he would let Pettigrew much out of his sight. But you sure created a chilling Pettigrew. He so often is presented as incompetent, but your Pettigrew is a pretty scary dark wizard. He even got the best of Severus here.
Author's Response: Yes, this Harry has a doe Patronus. It's mentioned way back in chapter 1 or 2. That was also where I established the timeline as near the end of PoA. But I posted those chapters in December, so it's understandable you forgot. One of the pitfalls of posting one chapter at a time. Voldemort didn't have all the dementors at his control at this point, but I imagined a few rogue ones converted before they all flocked to his side. I can't think why Voldemort wouldn't let Wormtail out of his sight...maybe I'm forgetting something. Wormtail was essentially his only footsoldier at this point, other than Nagini. (Random thought: where was Nagini all the years V was gone? Chillin' at the beach?) Thank you for reviewing!

Ack! You scared the tar outta me. I couldn't believe that they'd be captured by the Rat, but it sure seemed possible for a few minutes!
I really liked your spin on the three matching patronus. (Patronusi? Patronuses? Whatever) All three family members with the same patronus merging together in time of need. Nicely done.
So, Snape doesn't mind Harry being there after all, eh? Funny how Harry's near-death and Snape's near-failure has that effect on him. *tee-hee*
Author's Response: Ha, who knew I could be scary? Patronum? I don't know; I took French instead of Latin. Cette Patronus est tres belle! :D It does appear that Snape is re-thinking the whole "remora" issue. :)

Wonderful chapter! I was really surprised when Wormtail showed up. Maybe they can try going back to Godrics Hollow with someone else there to back them up if Death Eaters show up. Great chapter and I am very curious to see what will happen next! :)
Author's Response: I was trying to keep with the books in terms of the enemy...right now only Wormtail is working with Voldemort, so he turned out to be the villain of the piece. Thank you for posting!

Great job! I loved the patronus part and also the way Severus started to see Lily in Harry and care for him. The healing after the battle was wonderful also. So was the battle with Pettigrew, the slimeball.
Author's Response: Thanks! I enjoyed writing about the Patronus. And I figured there were subtle features of Harry's that were passed down from Lily--he can't just be James with green eyes. I think the healing was important because in the past, Snape was solely concerned with keeping Harry's body intact. Now he's thinking about what an injury would mean for the person inside that body.
Snape is still being harsh, poor Harry, he's not wanted anywhere.
Author's Response: Unfortunately, people with perfectly blissful lives don't make for interesting storytelling. Just blame the author for his troubles. ;) Thank you for reviewing!
Beautiful work! This chapter was brilliant; such strong emotions and memories, I can truly feel Other Snape's feeling. I'm glad Lupin gave him that one moment of fond memories, he definitly needed it. Hopefully, with Harry's mistake, he and Other Severus can finally come to a better relationship, as they clearly both love Lily. I look forward to Lupin's possible other visits, he's one of my favorite characters. The content of this chapter was truly brilliant, I enjoyed reading all of it, especially the strong emotional parts (I'm a sucker for those ^^). PLEASE, please post again soon! It would really make my day. I'm anxious to find out how things are going on with Snape and Other Harry.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm happy to know that the images and feelings are coming through the writing. I enjoyed writing Lupin-he's protective and stubborn, but also kind and understanding. He's a minor character, so don't expect a return visit (sorry!). But there may be some other canon characters a few chapters from now. You realize that the faster I update, the sooner the story will be over? That makes me sad-it's been such a wonderful experience. But I'll update as frequently as I'm able. :)
