Reviews For Never Say Remember
Author's Response: It's fun to have everyone try and treat this Harry the way they used to, and get confounded by his different reactions. And wow, that's a lovely compliment, to say that you were hardly aware you were reading. I hope future chapters draw you in as well. Thank you very much.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It is mz favourite film too. I still can not stop laughing. Author's Response: Cookie for you! Yeah, there are so many good quotes from that movie. "Brave Sir Robin ran away..."
Author's Response: Thank you! The movie references are kind of obscure so don't worry about it. :)
Brilliant story and I can't wait to read more. Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the chapter—I'm taking cold medication that makes my brain fuzzy and I was hoping there wouldn't be all kinds of drunken typos. You have a good point about Harry, though…he's learned how to deal with Malfoy with Snape's help, but that may not be coming across. I'll add a little clarification in editing. Congrats on your Christmas fic win!
"He tried to smile, but only managed a grimace. He ducked his head, letting his hair veil his face. It was a gesture left over from adolescence, and one of the many aspects of his body language he'd rigorously drummed out of himself as he learned Occlumency." **I just loved the fact that Severus felt so vulnerable in front of Lily. It was a lovely description and said so much about what kind of person Severus is. Seriously, keep up the excellent writing. I'm just so impressed with this. Author's Response: Thank you! I wanted to show that this wasn't a one-sided relationship. They can both be vulnerable, each needing the other.
One thing I really enjoyed about it I suppose is that you didn't spend chapter's and pages on how the Harry's switched and it didn't take long for them to realize what the problem was. For a lot of stories that deal with plans of existence so much time is spent trying to figure out whats going on it takes away from everything else. Also, you characterizations are brillant! You manage to keep both Snape in character somehow. I'm really sorry that I didn't read this story as soon as it was posted, but I must say that now I'm hooked. Please update soon. Author's Response: Ha! "extreme boredom," you say? Well, my thanks go out to the January blahs, as they've driven you to click on my story! In the early stages of writing, I toyed with the idea of working in more of a plot involving the AUs, but it simply bored me; I didn't want to write a story about AUs in a Star Trek sort of way. The AU is really an opportunity to put Snape & Harry in a difficult situation and force them to interact. So I focused on what I wanted: writing pages and pages of dialogue between them. And no apology needed…just keep reading & letting me know what you think! Thank you for the review!
Now that's sad! And Lily must be almost like salt in a wound for this Severus, as much as he loves her. Author's Response: Well, you live with your choices. Literally, in his case. Thank you so much for continuing to post your reactions!
Author's Response: Thanks!
PLEASE post again soon! Beth Author's Response: Well, I don't want you to have an emotional breakdown! How about if Snape gets too sad, I send him over to your place for hugs? :) I'm happy you're enjoying it!
Author's Response: Thanks! It's over 1/4 done now…I'll be sad when it's over. It's been so great seeing everyone's reactions! |
