An excellent chapter though I was a bit confused about where the Floo station was. After reading the last chapter I thought it was in London and then it turned out to be in Perth. Regardless I was on the edge of my seat when I realised that Voldemort and his Deatheaters were there and I almost fell out of my chair with relief when Severus managed to use the Portkey. The "discussion" was execllently written and I could feel Snape's aggravation and frustration. Are we going to find out what is on the parchment that Narcissa gave to Severus? Great job!

The scene at the floo station was interesting. I imagined it sort of like a large train station, but with floos instead. They still had ticket barriers though for some reason. Weird.
I really like the way you write Snape. Sort of Canon still, how he might have behaved if he had liked Harry. Very independent.
I take it the letter is from Draco?

"He was a bloody idiot. In fact, he was quite possibly the heir to the throne of the kingdom of bloody idiots. Well, no, that position was reserved for one particular fifth year who insisted upon haring off to government offices in the middle of the night, but at this point he was quite certain that he was at least a member of the governing body of said kingdom. At the very least."

i think this may be my favorite quote from this fic. i think your snape is my all time favorite. and i think that maybe you can read my mind because severus' inner dialogue is a lot like my own. =) here's to hoping RL calms down a little bit so you can write some more of this awesome fic. keep up the good work!

It's hard to even to begin writing a review for this. When I first read it, I thought it was going to be a pretty ordinary story, but with every new chapter you've surprised me. New plot twists, excellent writing, a good story.
    GREAT JOB.
