'well, empty except for an obviously-comfortable bed which didn’t do a great deal for his temper' Very clever. He he.
'Severus was tempted to lend the thing to Longbottom for use as a cauldron stand in his next potions’ lesson. ‘Maybe’, ‘perhaps’, ‘possibly’, ‘perchance’, ‘conceivably’, ‘in theory’, ‘rumored’, ‘believed to be’…offhand he couldn’t come up with another synonym for ‘we don’t really know’, and they’d managed to fit them all into a single sentence.' So true! Very funny.

This story is going really well! It's very intricate and the extra characters are great. Not too emotional but definitely the right mix of relationships. Will we see more of Alastor?

This is really humerours. The 3 way conversation was great. I like the way you've slotted muggle idioms into the story.

I am absolutely loving this story. The malice and sarcasm are excellent. I love Severus's inner monologues, they are incredibly witty. I hate it when you read a fic that has him using substandard prose, and the fact that you go to the effort of making him sound believable is wonderful.

I reread most of your story tonight and love it!!
It seems to me that your story really concentrates on Snape. I like hearing his thoughts and, indeed, they have made the story a fun experience to read. I have been laughing all the way through.
There is plenty of relationship growing between him and Harry, but it is definitely not overdone. I think he does like Harry, but it's been a slow growing of tolerance. He's probably not even sure what he feels and probably doesn't even care to know what he feels right now.
Anyway, great story!
Linda
Sadly, I have been remiss in reviewing this wonderful story. I have followed it since the beginning and have laughed and cheered.
While drinking a diet coke, I read these lines Hexing Aurors is bad. Hexing colleagues is frowned upon. Hexing other Order members is counterproductive. No matter how badly they deserve it. “Just out of curiosity, how many times have you been hexed by someone on our side when he finally lost patience with your paranoia? No need to be specific, a round number will do.”
After cleaning up my monitor from the diet coke spew, I realized that I had to tell you how great this is. You have truly captured Snape and Moody.
Thank you, thank you.

What a lovely surprise to find a new chapter to your story. I really enjoyed it, as usual. The only thing that seems to be going well for Snape at the moment is that the rabbit is no longer living in his cauldron. His interactions with the Hogwarts staff make for hilarious reading. He gets no respect and is treated like a wayward child. No wonder he's in a perpetual snit!
Keep on writing, I'm waiting to see what you come up with next.
