Severus really loves to stir things up, doesn't he?
I'm glad that he got the eye though. Nice chappie.

Oh, this is interesting. Alastor and Severus getting along!

Nice chappie. I wonder if Severus will stop being so stubborn soon.

Ooh loved the interaction with Severus and Alastor in this chapter! its so cute how the 'adults' can make Severus seem so young and in need of being looked after :)
Is nobody going with Severus to get his new eye? it would be cute if Alastor went to be with him...sorry im just a sap for those two :P

I love the interaction between Snape and Moody - it just feels right! Good thing that the new eye will be in soon, it must be hard being constantly vigilant with one eye! You do such a wonderful job keeping everyone IC - which means I am now a little concerned about what Harry is thinking! We all know that the Golden Trio can get into all kinds of situations that go from bad to worse in a very short time, so I am waiting (behind a chair!) for the next crisis to pop up!

Lol I love this story...its the only one that has such classic Severus/Alastor moments, I love those 2 and there are way too few stories of them together, I cant wait to see how their 'therapy' will go lol, I also love Poppy with her mothering of Severus lol :)

You have discrete and discreet mixed up. To be discreet, someone or something is being careful or using caution, so as not to be too obvious...
"The presence of Christmas was discreet - a moderately-decorated spruce here, a string of lights there."
From Christmas in Rome by Philip Marsden.

To be described as discrete, something is seen to be a separate thing...

"The endangered Arizona pygmy-owl is discrete from the remainder of the species."
A good way of remembering the difference (spelling and grammar checkers don't know the difference!) is that the t in discrete separates the two e's... they are discrete.

This continues to enthrall - thank you.
BTW British people do not use the word 'gotten' so anytime a character uses it it screams that he is American and not British- and spoils the story a bit. OR has watched far too much American TV.LOL) Where Americans would say gotten
Bbrits use got - and yes, although that would not be grammatical in American English it is correct in British English. Brits have not used 'gotten' for a few hundred years, it is now archaic in Britian.
Also, the standard past tense of the verb to dive is 'dived' and not 'dove', and again, not likely to be used in Britain.
There are several web sites that can be found if you google for them that explain these particular and other differences between British English and American English.
The 'gotten' one is the most disconcerting difference that I've ever encountered though, it really sounds strange to British ears.
