Why does it seem like Snape has to mop up everyone elses messes?!?! (Because he can!!) I sure hope you give him a good night's sleep in the near future - he had had way to much too handle in the last 48 hours or so. Of course, we now have an evil cliffhanger, and are most anxious to see what mess Snape will need to fix next!!
Thanks so much for updating this great story!!!

I LOVE your reimagining of the Hall of Prophecies battle!!! It flows very well from the story you have presented so far, and I can just hear Snape berating Harry about his foolishness in taking his "little friends" with him! What a great set of chapters!!!

Poor Snape!!! Now the kindergarten set is trying to heal him!! Poor Poppy, just doing her very best to get him the help he needs!! How fortunate he ran into Moody - someone he can trade insults with who will understand better than any of the healers Poppy brings around. I love the exchanges Snape and Moody have whenever they meet!

I loved the trip through the Chamber! It makes sense that Sytherin might have actually stored documents and magical objects in that secure place. The presence of the tunnel warren certainly indicates a very complex area - maybe there will be other findings later on?

I really like the relationship you are building between Moody and Snape - their shifting from suspicion and dislike to a cautious acceptance is going at just the right pace. I enjoyed the duel, and found it perfectly believable that Snape would have a flashback in the middle of it.

He-he - being a spy has its compensations, including developing the nerve to carry off covert operations! Snape's plan worked so much better than he could have expected!
Great chapter - Umbridge's comeuppance was well worth the wait!

How I wish I could see Snape the Snake!! I picture him as a beautiful black and green, about 3 feet long - if he had his way poisonous too I bet! You description of the recovery he is going through both for his vision problems and his prosthesis is very interesting, and feels true.
I am glad you are bringing in some of my favorite JKR moments - the twins swamp is one of the top ones for me! Of course, any interaction you have between Snape and Harry is a top moment for me as well.

I love the developing "relationship" that Snape and Moody have! Who else can understand the profound loss that Snape has had? I sure hope that he can work out how to do his potions work again - so much of his identity is in this work, particularly now that his days as spy are gone!
I love how IC your Snape is in this story - what a wonderful chapter (and story!)

What a breathtaking chapter!!! You make the whole horrible session come vividly to life (erk.....). I like that a Hufflepuff - loyal to a fault - is the one who rescues Snape, at risk to her life. How true that you are not the sum of the house you are sorted into, but a combination of traits of all the houses!
Although not a cliffhanger, this is one chapter that I am glad I am rereading and I do not have to wait for the next chapter to see what happens next!
