Reviews For Slave Child
Author's Response: Thank you! Severus really is noticing more about Harry's character, now that he's open to really seeing him. He'll try to help Harry, but again, it's going to take a little time. For one thing, Severus doesn't realise how dangerously depressed Harry is, and for another being open about his emotions is new and difficult for him...he's working on it, but he'll have to be pretty shaken up before he really opens up.
Author's Response: Thank you, Scorpia! Severus really has changed a lot, hasn't he? And he'll change even more before it's over. Yes, I do plan for Severus to adopt Harry at some point in the future...that will be a key element in helping Harry to begin to see that the slavery spell doesn't have to define the rest of his life.
Author's Response: Thank you! Harry is so depressed right now, you're right that Severus is going to have a hard time helping him to come out of it. Fortunately, Severus is quite stubborn when he wants to be though.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so glad you do.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Author's Response: That's okay, Kaity, I know you've got a busy summer planned. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you! Yep, I love softie Sev, too. I'm not sure if they're ready for a real hug yet, but we'll see...
But really, this was a great chapter. I love Harry, eh's just so perfectly written. What's gonna happen with Harry? It's a nightmare, right? Well, please update again soon! -Elise Author's Response: Because cliffies are fun! You know you love them, Elise! Thank you!
It's really good to read a story by an author who thinks things through - I hadn't considered that Harry would be unable to attack Severus due to the spell, but you have, and you have a solution, not a *let's forget about that and create a plot hole so I can do what I want* situation. I applaud you. Good job on this chapter - will Remus feature in this as a more central character, or will he just disappear from Harry's life again? Author's Response: Puppy-dog eyes are hard to resist, aren't they? We have a little beagle with the sweetest face and the biggest brown eyes...it's a good thing she's not clever enough to be manipulative because otherwise she could rule the world! Thank you! I do try to have things planned out. Course I'm not perfect, or a full-time writer who can devote hours to it, so sometimes things do slip by me, but I try. Remus will be in the story later, I think (or in the sequel) , but probably more of a minor character. |
